如纷飞花月，如乱鸣喧嚣，生活中存在着完美与不足。细细观察，方得其妙。
人们追求完美，这是人之本性。人人求之，证明完美的可贵。侧面看也能看出不完美是人们所不喜的。为何呢，无非在于粗陋与其后果。
其一之粗陋，这需是普遍的。而首讲变化。正所谓人无完人，每个人总归是有其不完美之处。不完美可以理解为一种督促。人们想让不完美变的完美，这就是不完美的美妙之处。让人们变的完美，是一种进化的过程，也正符合生物进化论。又再说不完美其实也是一种吸收，一种责任。我们老师经常会给出一些奇奇怪怪的题，同学们不会。而老师却会说：“如果你们都会的话，还要老师做什么？”同学们在知识上的残缺，不完美，恰是老师的\'一种责任，播撒知识，传授知识，让同学们知识漏洞中的不完美逐渐变得完美。生活中的责任也大同小异。如戴圣《礼记》所言：“使老有所终，壮有所用，幼有所长”，生活中的不完美让不同的人解决，从而造就了就业岗位。夸张一点说，生活就是由不完美构成的。
其二呢，要论其后果。其实后果已在上一点中说明。不完美需要弥补，弥补需要付出代价，代价呼唤劳动力。这与生活中的生产关系是有照应性的。其实“不完美的后果”一词不够匹配，用“不完美后发生的事”才足够贴切。
如上文所说，不完美构成了生活。如若生活没有了不完美呢？恐怕难以想象。人人都是完美的，事事都是完美的，物物都是完美的。人们无需努力，因为生活已然完美。在此后，人们便会失去对生活的希望，生活已经丢失了它本身存在的意义。人们就会贪图享乐，《孟子》中载：“生于忧患，于安乐”，其此之谓乎。这可能就关系于人类的消亡了。从此看，完美可能造成消亡，生活中确实需要不完美。而又从侧面看，如果人们贪图享乐，便已然又存在了不完美，因为人们缺少了完美的心态。所以，完美的生活不存在。
学术同样如此。人类的知识体系始终不完整，所以人类在不断探索，逐渐完善。不完美的知识产生了讨论，产生了争议，产生了猜想，产生了探索。从此中，不完美激发了人们的探索精神和想象力。不完美在学术上同样存在意义。
法国卢浮宫，有一尊雕像。那是美神维纳斯。看着断臂的维娜斯，我有点遗憾。有人曾告诉我，曾经有好多个方案，为雕像恢复原貌，最后发现，没有一个完整的，比残缺的更美。我恍然大悟：原来这个世界游戏的规则设计者，也就是那位隐身的造物者，根本就没有设计“完美”。生活需要不完美。
