‘高尔基’这个名字早已家喻户晓，听朋友说他还出了许多有趣的书呢。我一直很想了解培养高尔基的是一个怎样的家庭?他的亲人又是怎样教育他的?打开高尔基的童年一起分享他的酸甜苦辣吧!
高尔基生活在一个艰苦的家庭中。外公自私残暴，为了摇摇欲坠的小业主地位，他残酷地对待工人，甚至六亲不认，将替他劳动来了一辈子的老匠人格里戈里赶出家门，共同生活的老伴他也要她自谋生路。有钱时作威作福，破产后更加贪婪吝啬，品格底下。
而外婆善良、慈祥，她心甘情愿把生活的一切压力毫无怨言的都承担下来。她还能和、歌善舞，善于形形色色的传说、童话、民间故事。而且十分伟大，作坊起火时，所有的人都惊慌失措，只有她冲进火海，抢出水桶大小的一桶硫酸盐。
与外婆同类的还有小伙子茨网，是一个弃婴，被外婆捡到后一直养着，虽然被当成牛马使唤，但仍然十分善良、乐观。
我最欣赏高尔基书中提到的一句话:在童年，我把自己想象成一个蜂窝，一些普通，平凡做人们象蜜蜂一样，把自己的知识和关于生活的想法的蜜送到那里，每个人尽量用自己的力量去充实着心灵，这种蜜往往是肮脏的，但这一切知识仍然是蜜!
