Recently, I read a fairy story book, Little Prince. This book tells the adventurous experiences of little prince from his planet to the earth. Little prince comes from the outer space and he is hurt by a rose. So he leaves there and travels into space. He comes to the earth and be the friend of a fox. The fox tells his secret to little prince and he helps a pilot in the desert. In the end, he dies under the help of a snake and his soul goes back to his planet. This book is very interesting and teaches me a lot. I like little price adventures. He teaches me to be honest and love others. All of us should never loss the pureness of childhood.

"Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" — The sixth movie in J.K. Rowling's fantasy series about the young wizard is the franchise's best so far, blending rich drama and easy camaraderie among the actors with the visual spectacle that until now has been the real star.
The hocus-pocus of it all nearly takes a back seat to the story and characters this time, and the film is the better for that, brimming with authentic people and honest interaction — hormonal teens bonding with great humor, heartache that will resonate with anyone who remembers the pangs of first love. The movie escalates the peril for Harry (Daniel Radcliffe and his best pals, Hermione Granger (Emma Watson and Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint, while giving the threesome that first collaborated as prepubescent kids their best platform yet to show their maturing acting chops.
Director David Yates, who made the fifth film and is doing the final two, stays true to the Rowling recipe yet infuses it with a freshness and energy that make it seem like a new start, not the stale old chapter six it could have been. Harry's main challenge this time involves an assignment from headmaster Dumbledore (Michael Gambon to retrieve a critical memory that a new teacher (Jim Broadbent possesses about the evil Lord Voldemort.
Along with the splendid visuals, the movie offers stirring support from Alan Rickman, Helena Bonham Carter, Maggie Smith, Robbie Coltrane and other co-stars. PG for scary images, some violence, language and mild sensuality. 153 minutes. Three and a half stars out of four.

故事中的简爱从小就失去了父母，被舅舅家领养。舅舅里德很照顾简爱，却不幸过早离世了。这就使得简爱在舅舅家的地位是无足轻重的了。简爱在那受尽了歧视和瘧待，表哥常常欺凌她，舅母对她甚至是像对仆人一样，并且千方百计地要赶走她。尽管如此，但小小年纪的简爱离开的时候并没有表现出一丝的留恋和依赖，因为她知道她心里坦荡荡的，光明正大，所以才无所畏惧。送去罗沃德孤儿院之后，她遇到了最好的朋友海伦。两颗幼小纯洁的心灵从此联系在了一起。简爱体现出了一种敢于反抗封建思想的精神。怎么可以因为上课时分神了一下就得遭受严厉的鞭打呢？这是冷漠人心的表现，是不符合人权的行为。期间，简爱掌握了不少知识，并且还做了老师。
之后，简爱来到桑恩费尔德庄园应聘，也就是在这里，她遇到了生命中的真命天子——罗切斯特。他们在庄园里的第一次对话便有些针锋相对的意味。罗切斯特是个富有的有社会地位的庄园主，也许是对贫苦人的抱怨和希望博得他人同情的行为司空见惯了，他以为简爱也会如此，会大肆宣泻自己的不幸与不满。可是令他意外的是，简爱竟然说她自己没有不幸。而且是在父母早亡，在舅舅家受瘧待和歧视，被舅母赶出家门，在孤儿院受压迫过活的情况下。其实光是这一点，就足够令罗切斯特对简爱感到另眼相看了。
在点点滴滴的相处中，罗切斯特深深地感受到，简是个坚强，内心深处有着自己独特想法，有有肉的女子，是个能与他的灵魂平等交流的女子。他被简彻底地打动了。一次Party使得简爱的期待落空，也使得屈辱不堪的她终于爆发了，道出了自己的心声：不要以为我长得矮小平凡就以为我不会思考，就没有爱的能力；如果我也有上帝所赋予的天资，那么我也同样会很出色。我认为，这也是本书最精彩的地方。的确，其实人生来就是不平等的。有的人出于富贵之家，有的人生来就拥有一幅好的容貌。可是，何必要执着于这些呢？要知道，我们还是能够满怀友爱，自信而平等地对待他人。
一念天堂，一念地狱，如何取舍就在于自己的一念一想。误会解除之后，罗切斯特向简求婚，简高兴地答应了，然而没想到的是，这背后却有个惊天秘密。罗有个患有精神病的结婚十五年的妻子！这个事实令简大受打击，她忍受不了她最信任的人一直欺骗着她，忍受不了他们之间有道法律的鸿沟，而这条鸿沟却是跨不过去的。简带着她仅剩的一点尊严离开了罗，之后被牧师圣。约翰收留。圣。约翰请求简做他的妻子，一并带她去印度。当问及娶简的原因时，他的回答却仅仅是简适合做传教士的妻子，而不是出于爱。不，这不是简想要的爱情。她想拥有的爱情是纯洁的，是两个心灵激情碰撞之后产生的火花，是因情感交流而衍生出来的惺惺相惜，绝不是存在利益关系的交易。于是，简又回到了庄园课那里却变成了一片狼藉，简急切地想要找到罗切斯特，看他是否安好。因为那场大火，罗切斯特变成了一个残废。可尽管如此，简还是一如既往地爱着他，并没有因为他变成了残疾而鄙视、抛弃他，也并不会因为他变得一无所有而离开他。这就是简对爱情的态度：你可以贫穷，你可以变丑，但你不能欺骗我，伤害我的自尊。这才是真正的“因为爱情”。
我想，简的这种精神是独立的，是难能可贵的。我们是活生生的有思想，有感情的人，带着尊严和爱生活在这个世界。别人可以瞧不起我们，但我们不能看不起自己，我们要“自命不凡”，坚强、自信、努力地面对一切困难，迎难而上。如何做的关键就在于自己如何想。选择积极的心态那么阳光、快乐、满足将会伴你一生；选择消极的心态，那么阴郁、抱怨、不幸将会长相随。所以，对自己好一点的话，全世界都会为你让路。

The film "Gua Sha" impressed me deeply and made me think about something about culture. I feel that "Person in the United States, it is very difficult to blend into local culture." through this film. It mainly talked about what happened to a Chinese family in American society.
After years of hard work, Xu Datong, a Chinese IIgrant to the US, has finally achieved success as an outstanding video game designer. With his promising career and loving family, he feels that he has become a true American. However, clothes can be changed, colour of skin can't . Language can be learned, way of thinking can't. They are always Chinese, something is deeply rooted, some insistence come from nature. Datong’s father comes over from China, and uses a traditional Chinese medical technique, called guasha, to treat Datong`s son, Dennis. Unexpectedly, an American doctor thinks the bruises on Dennis` back left by the guasha treatment are signs of child abuse, and the finger is pointed at Datong. The film “Gua Sha-the Treatment” reflects the difference of value and culture views between western society and orient society. China society has been receiving impact of Confucianism for thousands years. Confucianism is known as paying attention to human relationship and ethic. Piety, courtesy and loyalism are most important ethic. But in Western culture which is more emphasis on individualism, independence and equality. So conflicts in culture and value are unavoidable. These conflicts have shown in the story.
The moving also reflects some difference between Chinese education and Western education. In Chinese culture, physical punishment is commonly used by Chinese family. They think that will help children to growing up. But in western society it is absolutely forbidden. Any abusing children was viewed as illegal conduct. As to show respect to friends, Da Tong Xu punished his own son physically in front of friends. But this was misinterpreted as violence by his foreign friends. This is a misunderstanding in culture between East and West. To some point, this phenomenon
reflect Chinese face view, Da Tong Xu punished his own son physically to show father's majesty and power of binding, in order to give face to his friends. But to American, this manner was regarded as inglorious conduct. Why? Because Chinese pay much attention to face, which can be understood hardly by Westerners. Westerners also emphasize face, but not complicated far from Chinese in interpersonal relationship.
How to avoid the tragedy of the story? Conflicts can't be avoided in intercultural communications. We must strengthen the East-West cultural exchange and learning, and only with respect and inclusion to different cultures will it be possible to avoid the culture and values of conflict. Take an active part in East-West cultural communication, build the mutual trust to avoid superiority of own culture, try to understand other countries culture.
Gua Sha , this method would inevitably leave bruise on the skin, and the story begins here, when the visiting grandpa who does not speak any English used this traditional practice to treat the grandson when both son and daughter-in-law were at work. In the moving, the grandpa asked himself painfully,"Gua Sha-the Treatment have used in Chinese for thousands years, why can't be use in American?" To grandpa and most Chinese audiences, Gua Sha-the Treatment is so common in Chinese, it seems that they take Westerners should know it for granted, it's their fault because they don't know it. This was the easiest error to be made in intercultural communications, namely, impose own culture on another culture and use own view to evaluate others. Just because of misunderstanding of different cultures, there are so many tragedies happened on orient IIgrants in the corners of American society.

文学作品中的痴男怨女太多，现实生活中的更是数不胜数。张爱玲与胡兰成的半生纠葛让人唏嘘不止，因为自尊，所以痛苦，因为爱你，所以痛苦。看过无数苦情剧，大概的套路都是甲男爱乙女，丙女爱甲男，三个人一台戏，因为不爱引出一场阴谋，一场心殇。更有人利用爱的名义，换取金钱，换取荣耀。如果简·爱想要跻身上流社会，罗切斯特是她最好的踏脚石，但她无法容忍爱情的纯白染上尘埃，更因为她善良纯真的本性，不愿去破坏别人的家庭。
“平等”贯穿两人爱情的始末，因为罗切斯特能够平等待人，将简·爱视作朋友，坦陈相见，简爱才交出真心，因为简爱追求平等的爱情，不卑不亢的人格魅力才吸引了罗切斯特，赢得了爱情。
当罗切斯特因为火灾损失了全部家产，更烧伤了眼睛，而简爱获得了一笔遗产，从贫穷走向富有，从表面看来他们的爱情依旧出现世俗的失衡，但简爱牵起了罗切斯特的手，因为，如果我爱你，不仅仅是作为树的形象与你站在一起，更要分担寒潮、风雷、霹雳，共享雾霭、流岚、虹霓，终身相依。

When it comes to spy thrillers, Tony Gilroy knows the game. The formula for a crackling entry into this genre is simple enough: keep the action moving and the twists coming, then engage in one late innings sleight of hand that pulls the rug out from under everything. Gilroy, with an adroitness Hitchcock might admire, works admirably in this arena, turning in a screenplay that's more diabolical and pulpy than his convoluted directorial debut, Michael Clayton, but no less fun. He maximizes his assets, and considering the wattage of his stars, they are considerable. Although one could not consider the plot for Duplicity to be air-tight, the holes are small enough for things to remain afloat until after the proceedings have ended. A post-movie dissection on the way home in the car will reveal some obvious plotting problems.
