赛龙舟，是端午节的主要习俗。相传起源于古时楚国人因舍不得贤臣屈原投江去，许多人划船追赶拯救。他们争先恐后，追至洞庭湖时不见踪迹。之后每年五月五日划龙舟以纪念之。借划龙舟驱散江中之鱼，以免鱼吃掉屈原的身体。竞渡之习，盛行于吴、越、楚。
龙舟，与普通船只不太相同，龙船狭长、细窄，船头饰龙头，船尾饰龙尾。船长一般为米，每艘船上约30名水手。
龙头的颜色分别有有红、黑、灰等色，均与龙灯之头相似，姿态不一。一般以木雕成，加以彩绘《也有用纸扎、纱扎的》。龙尾多用整木雕，上刻鳞甲。除龙头龙尾外，龙舟上还有锣鼓、旗帜或船体绘画等装饰。真是壮观啊！
赛龙舟是端午节的`一项重要活动，在我国南方十分流行，赛龙舟是中国民间传统水上体育娱乐项目，已流传两千多年，多是在喜庆节日举行，是多人集体划桨竞赛。
比赛规则是在规定距离内，同时起航，以到达终点先后决定名次。“预备，开始！”随着裁判员的一声令下，各色各样的“龙”如箭离弦，顺流而下，欲争群龙之首。它们都在你追我赶，力争上游，谁也不甘落后，那激动人心的场面，催人振奋。顿时，乐声响彻江面，鼓声咚咚，锣声当当，号子高亢。龙舟上的健儿们如同出征的战士一样，个个神采奕奕。他们狠劲猛划，奋力冲刺，岸上山呼海啸，滚起阵阵“加油”声浪。
看龙舟赛，作壁上观，每一条龙舟都牵动着观众的心，我的心犹如大海里的波涛，时起时伏。选手们果然不负观众所望，他们沉着、冷静、镇定，挥动着肌肉鼓鼓的臂膀，拼命地划着。终于有一条红色的龙舟遥遥领先，成为了群龙之首，岸上的人欢呼雀跃、击掌喝彩。
就这样，赛龙舟在欢乐的气氛中结束了，但那催人奋发的锣鼓声仍在我耳边回荡，那拼搏向上的情景常在我眼前闪现。朋友，请到我们家乡来，来看看这富有民族特色的赛龙舟吧！

不一会儿，一条绿色的龙舟划到起点。这可真是一条名符其实的龙舟啊!船头有一个龙头。两只大大的眼睛炯炯有神。两条龙须骄傲地翘起来。嘴巴凸起，里面还有一颗珍珠。船身细长，但还可以坐两排人，每一排坐十个人，船头还站着一位指挥员。
绿队先上场。他们穿着一致的衣服。比赛开始了，指挥员有节奏的吹着嘴中的哨子，舞着手中的两面红旗。划手们就按他的指挥去划船。他们划得很整齐，总是一块抬桨，一块落下桨，连桨抬得高度都一样。岸边的观众都伸长脖子，看着这一场精彩的.比赛，还高声地喊：“加油，加油。”绿队越划越来劲，速度也越来越快，不一会儿就到达了终点。
该红队上场了红队也不甘落后，但最后因为指挥员出现了一点小小的失误，把本来应该获得的冠军让给了绿队。绿队终于获得了龙舟比赛的冠军。比赛结束了，我想：一个人本领再大，也是微不足道的。只要大家齐心合力，向一个目标奋斗，就一定能够达到目的。

“加油!一二……”这是哪传来的声音?喔原来是我们小记者在赛龙舟呀。
今天是我们小记者在当阳夏令营活动的第二天，老师为了培养我们的团队精神，把我们带到了青龙湖，进行赛龙舟的比赛。
前两场，我们都力胜对方。可对方队员却大叫不公，，说他们男生少，鼓手差，晕船多。老师只好调整。
调整后，两队的实力就差不多了。我们队也都知道，接下来的比赛要想取胜可不容易了，要靠团结，而不只是力量了。
“好，开始!”随着鼓手的一声吆喝，比赛开始了。“加油!一二!加油!一二!”我们伴随着铿锵有力的鼓声大声的呐喊着，心中燃起了斗志。大家随着口号声，一起用力，一起使劲。
已经超过他们了。我下意识的回头看了一，只件他们手忙脚乱，正互相埋怨，前面的在划，后面的在说，动作极不一致，更没有领头羊喊口号。我心想，我们还是团结力量大呀!
可渐渐地，我有点体力不支了，但今天是五月初五端午节。我们早早地就吃完了粽子准备去看赛龙舟了。
我们到河边看见河的两旁人山人海。我和爸爸马上就抢了一个座位看赛龙舟。下午2点，赛龙舟开始了，龙舟有红队、白队、黄队、蓝队……穿着各种各样的衣服，头上绑了块白布，上面写了几个字——“奋斗!奋斗!努力奋斗，战胜困难”。红队就是我们水南队。我和爸爸在给水南队加油呢!那些观众都在为各自的竞赛队加油。离终点不远了，就在这紧急的'时刻，人群更加沸腾了，观众们在拼命地为他们加油。我和爸爸也用力地喊：“红队，加油!红队，加油!……”。红队听到喊声，队员更加精神抖擞。最后红队最先到达了终点，夺得了冠军。
赛龙舟需要队员们的同心协力、奋力拼搏，才能划的快。它发扬了我们中华民族奋力拼搏的精神，也宏扬了我们中华民族的优良传统美德。 终点还没到。休息会儿吗?不行，我要坚持，为了胜利，我要坚持，为了团队，我要坚持，就是为了证明自己，我也要坚持。最终，我们队取得了胜利。

What’s worse, he could affect his son ’s philosophy, guiding him in the opposite direction , nothing can be done to reverse the trend itself. The only solution is to change father ’s philosophy.
