它们现在吵着比谁的\'适应能力强，小乌龟抢先说：“我们的适应力强，你看，你们当中有三条已经不行了。”小鱼说：“那是他们适应力不好……”等等，我们刚才好像说漏嘴了。
它们又吵着比谁攻击能力强，打架比较厉害。这时，那只睡着了的乌龟被吵醒了，它大吼一声：“三更半夜不睡觉干吗呢?”可它们不理不睬，好像没有听到他哪一声吼，继续争吵：“我们龟的爪子可厉害了，打架一抓就抓一道痕”，“我们鱼的身体又轻又快，攻击速度很快，你说谁厉害?” ……
这时，天亮了。他们好像什么事没有发生过，乌龟继续慢慢地爬来爬去，金鱼快活地游来游去。
