火山口是涠洲岛上最美的地方，它是我国最大的火山岛，也是最年轻的火山岛。它经过了上万年的风雨洗礼，变得越来越奇妙、越来越美丽了。
当我们来到火山口，最行映入眼帘的是矗立在海边的一块岩石上的三个火红的大字——火山口。岩石边上有一条长长的沿着山脚边的木桥，弯弯曲曲地向前延伸看不到头。我们漫步在桥上，欣赏着优美的风景。这是有着千姿百态的火山熔岩，什么形状都有，真是让人惊叹。这里的“龙宫探奇”充满了神秘感，让人浮想联翩；这里的“百兽闹海”也很奇妙，那些岩石有的象狮子，有的象老虎……它们好像在海里在嬉戏、打闹，时而探出头，时而藏起来……“大自然真是太奇妙了！”我又一次感叹。这里的海水清澈而汹涌，海浪时而拍打着岩石，时而冲上小木桥。放眼望去，海天一色，海水倒映着夕阳的光辉，这风光真是无与伦比。
