On summer holiday my parents took me to Beijing. We stayed at Huabei Hotel. On the first day, we went to the Great Wall. The Great Wall is very long and old. It has millions of bricks. Each brick is very big and heavy. Lots of people from different countries like climbing the Great Wall. We felt very tired when we climbed to the top of the Great Wall.
We also went to the Palace Museum. The Palace Museum has 9999 palaces. It has a very long history. I bought a lot of souvenirs of the Palace Museum. What nice palaces these are! I visited the Palace Museum and felt excited. If you want to know more about the Palace Museum, you can go to Beijing and have a look. 8月2日，我在北京参加了一日游活动，这天我游览了清静的万寿寺，风景优美的颐和园，充满意趣的海底世界和雄伟高大的中央电视塔。
我很喜欢北京的海洋公园，在那里我见到了各种各样的鱼：红白相间的小丘鱼，有五颜六色与金鱼差不多的喂奶鱼，还有大白鲨。我还看见了白白胖胖的企鹅，它们站在那里，叼着小鱼挺着白白的肚子，让人看了甚是喜爱。还有大大小小的水母，有的水母小的只有一片刚抽出的嫩叶这么大，而有的水母长得有我的巴掌那么大。这些美丽的鱼儿在这里快活地无忧无虑地游着。
最值得我留念的是中央电视塔。中央电视塔塔高405米是世界第六高塔，你一走进去就会看见一个小丑来迎接你！那里的工作人员首先带我们去了238米高的塔楼，在那里可以看遍整个北京城，你还可以用望远镜看得更清晰。啊！首都北京的全景尽在我的眼底。瞧，鳞次栉比的高楼，一条条宽阔的马路，明镜湖泊映衬着碧空，此时我感到好像在天上飞。随后我又去了文化中心，那里陈列了小品“不差钱”的道具。这里还经常举办各种规模的图片、实物、模型的展览活动。在那里我了解到中央电视台成长过程，让我知道了中央电视台过去由几台破机器一步步发展到时了如今拥有世界先进现代设备的大电视台。接着我还去了模拟的CCTV新闻直播室，充当了一次新闻联播的主持人，并留了影。我还去了模拟天气预报室，我感觉真的在播天气预报，好像全国十三亿观众在观看我的直播，真是过了把当主持人的瘾。

今天是寒假的第一天，我听妈妈说要带我去北京天安门玩，太好了！真是太好了！我心里可开心了。我们一家四口收拾好行李就出发了。
经过了两天的奔波，我们来到了北京，我们先去坐地铁，地铁四周黑漆漆的，这更加增加了北京的神秘感。我们走出了地铁，就看到了雄伟壮观的景色：金碧辉煌的宫殿，毛爷爷的照片，壮观的华表……比东方之珠还要美丽一百倍。进了天安门的正门，里边比外边还美丽，有长廊、万寿山、古老的城墙、佛看洞、排云殿、圆明园……真是应有尽有，一条长廊就有七百多米长，有237间，没意见都有一个横间，上面有五彩的画，所有的画有一千多个，没有一幅是重复的。长廊走完之后就来到了万寿山下，可以看见一个佛香阁和一排金碧辉煌的排云殿。古老的城墙，朱红色的宫墙和金灿灿的屋顶，排云殿是红色的宫墙。
圆明园遗址非常珍贵，里面包含了对劳动人民的尊重，很重要，很宝贵，一登上万寿山，就能看到整个颐和园，一走向万寿山就来到了昆明湖和十七孔桥，昆明湖景的像一面镜子，绿得像一块碧玉，一座有十七个孔的桥从湖上横跨而过，那就是十七孔桥，每个桥的扶手旁边的长长的横杆上有一只用石头雕刻小狮子，姿态各异。
傍晚的时候我恋恋不舍得离开了北京，有机会我还会再来的。再见北京！
