这幅漫画寥寥数笔，却为我们揭示了一个不可忽视的道理：雄心大志固然重要，而更重要的还在于行动，在于行动中有没有坚韧不拔的毅力。在我们所从事的事业中，雄心是必不可少的。一个人如果没有远大的理想和抱负，那就会变得鼠目寸光，甚至变成奥勃洛摩夫式的废物，但是雄心毕竟还只是一种主观的东西，要把它变为现实还要靠顽强的毅力。人世间没有平坦的路，人类历史每前进一步都需要经过与火的斗争。如果我们只有远大的理想而不以巨大的毅力从事“韧”的战斗，当岁月流逝，你会发现，理想仍然是理想，它还是天幕远景上的海市蜃楼，你就像那个挖井人一样终于一无所获。如果我们在树立雄心壮志的同时，不忘刻苦努力，以顽强的毅力去拼搏，用一种不达目的的誓不罢休的气概向困难冲击，就一定能战胜困难，而不会像那个挖井人那样费尽气力两手空空。挖井如此，学习亦如此，人世间的一切奋斗莫不如此。
中国古代的史圣司马迁矢志修史，在漫长苦难的生活道路上，他以超人的.毅力忍辱负重，终于完成了不朽的杰作《史记》;化学家诺贝尔的炸药实验曾使自己负伤，亲人丧命，但仍坚定不移地工作;伟大革命导师马克思更是雄心和毅力结合的典范，在伦敦图书馆他的座位下，竟有他读书时跺脚留下的沟痕!
成功和毅力永远是不可分的。当我们在困难面前想要退却时，我们要想想画中的一事无成的庸人，更要想想马克思的：只有不畏劳苦沿着陡峭山路攀登的人，才有希望到达光辉的顶点。

物质是生活的基础，而诗意和远方是生活的本质。生活并不等价于生存，“活”有生命本身所具有的清新优雅以及其所带来的愉悦鲜活的之感;而生存是栖居在这片土地上的一切生物的状态，它是生命的基本状态，并不需要任何心理素质或是更高的精神追求。然而，反观今日的人们，却有无数的“生存者”，在物质之间流离失所，无所皈依，本已心力交瘁却仍不知疲倦地耕耘着，成为一种常态的存在，岂不悲哉?
总是记起慧能祖师那首小诗：“菩提本无树，明镜亦非台，本来无一物，何处惹尘埃。”这难道不是对那些热衷于物质而执迷不悟的芸芸众生的告诫吗?佛曰：破我执，破法执破无明。诗意才是甘霖，远方才是归宿。物质带来的是枯燥与沉沦，心灵永远不需要物质来喂养，恰恰相反，在缺乏物质的世界里，心灵才能茁壮成长。
在我看来，在生活的各个维度中，总能找到一维，那是梦想的领地，是诗意的栖息地，他超脱了物质的三个维度，是心灵生长的净土。《华严经》有云：犹如莲花不着水，亦如日月不住空。生活除了眼前的苟且，请不要忘记，还有诗意的梦想，和美丽的远方!
