鼎湖湾风景区，属国家2A级旅游区（点），位于灵宝市西阎乡文东村北 600米处，北濒黄河，东西长约3600米，南北宽约1800米，总面积约1万亩。原为大面积荷塘， 1960年前后，因三门峡大坝拦洪致使荷塘被毁。在此后的十多年间，地下泉涌，土肥水丰，草木丛生，芦兰疯长，蛙鸣鱼跃，鸟语花香，形成了鱼网环绕、苇路纵横、荷香婷婷、蒹葭苍苍的梦中绿园。

唐代诗人李白曾在此写下“鼎湖流水清且闲”的诗句。明代诗人彭刚则写下“鼎湖烟树接孤城”的诗篇；唐代诗人姚合在此写下《题河上亭》“亭亭河上亭，鱼踯水禽鸣。九曲何时尽，千峰今日清。晨光秋更远，暑气夏常轻。杯里移墙影，琴中有浪声。岸沙连砌静，渔火入窗明。来此多沉醉，神高无宿醒”。

看到题目，你一定奇怪了吧！人家姚明乃堂堂大明星也，怎么会和我这个小孩子是朋友呢！其实那位姚明非这位姚明，他本名非姚明，而是明遥。因为他的.名字反过来就成了众所诸知的姚明了，所以我们全班给他取了个别致的外号，“姚明”。
说起明遥在我们班上可谓是无人不知，无人不晓。我们俩都是五年级学来的，都是貌不惊人的小个子。说起学习成绩来，明遥和我都是一级棒刚才吹牛吹大了。其实我和明遥成绩还是有那么一点差距，在此道歉，请见谅。
明遥是我们班上的图书管理员，不过因为管理权力在语文老师的手中，所以也可以说是邦助老师做管理工作。但是他一点也不在意，我们都很佩服他的为人。
明遥虽然个子矮，但是他很勤奋好学，回答问题十分的积极，所以特别深受老师的喜爱和器重；真是让人羡慕了。有一次老师带我们去四（4）上公开课。正巧那一课老师讲的是《学奕》，当时老师为了增加学习气氛，就说：“明遥，起立。”可明遥一动不动，好象没有听见一样。没有办法，老师只得又叫一声：“姚明，起立。”明遥立刻站了起来。老师本想说明遥是我们班的明日之星，可是由于明遥的这一站，害得老师弄巧成拙，却说成了姚明，结果是逗得我们哈哈大笑。那场课让我们听得开心，学的认真。结果，就是这样我们的明遥成了明星姚明。所以人，我们很少叫他明遥，都叫他姚明。让他常常感觉到好开心，好高兴。在一次我们取笑他时，他却毫不在意的说：“我是姚明，我怕谁，我是明日之星姚明也。”我们生气了，本来是笑他，却成了笑我们自己。气得我们挥拳向他打去,可是看见他那小灵精怪的样子.好比掉进灰里的豆腐吹也不是,打也不是。
明遥不但聪明，而且在他高兴时，总会把几首诗改编一下，常常使我们赞不决口。我们感觉全班就只有他最具有明星风度。记得有一次我们一起改编《春晓》：
如果夏日不洗澡，身子处处蚊子咬。害得夜来巴掌声，蚊子不知多少。
听过后，大家哈哈大笑弯诗也。
哎！明遥，你真是我们的班的“搞笑星”也。
