现在，有些人失败了，或遇到挫折了，就常用“失败是成功之母”来安慰自己。这不免就造成了有些人对失败会抱无所谓的态度。每次失败，就只用这句话勉励自己一下，却不总结失败的原因。结果，一败，再败，三败……终不见成功。
失败后除了说这句话来勉励自己以外，还应该不灰心，不泄气，总结继续努力。可是，如果只是用一句“失败是成功之母”来缓解一时的尴尬或者装模作样的来勉励自己，那就大错特错了。况且，有些东西一旦失败了，那就是整个失败了，完全没有再来一次的借口。例如，有些人员因为一个失误，而造成整个系统的崩溃甚至瓦解，那就完全不会再有重来一次的机会了。
在现实生活中，我上述的情况随处可见，在咱们班里也不少。现在，我就讲个给你们听听吧。上个学期的第三单元，陆佳鑫考砸了，只考了83分，当试卷分发下来时，一向要面子的`他并没有总结这次考砸的原因，而是说：“失败是成功之母吗，没关系，下次一定能考好。”第四单元考试，他又考砸了，其实考砸的主要原因和上次是一模一样的，但他却没有去总结经验教训，而只是用这样一句话来让自己的心得到一点安慰，那样是永远都不可能走出失败的圈子的。
只有在失败的败果中找到那条蛀虫，并消灭它。再用辛勤的汗水浇灌梦想的花朵，才可能结出成功的果实。那时，成功才真正成了失败之母。
所以从现在开始，我们要在失败的废墟中找出那条通向成功的道路，当我们登上成功之颠的时候，回头看时，以前所经历的失败也同样是我们沿路路过的风景。
