summer can be very hot in southern taiwan where the temperature usually goes up to 32"c or more. because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. also because of this i stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky.
actually i like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. in the summer vacation that has just ended i went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. this summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. as a second-year senior student i had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. in other words, i must find time to study, too.
so i divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.

the summer vacation had come round again. i was happy that i could forget about school at least for a while. lest i fool around all through this summer vacation, i made a plan as to how to spend it. first, i thought i should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that i could have a better understanding of them.
then i thought i should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong. it stood to reason that with such a good plan i should make the best of my vacation time. i did, because i lived up to what i had planned.

I went to the beach and I swam in the sea.I called my friend and played with them.I visitde my grandparents and ate much delicious food.But in August,there is a first tyhoon.With terrifying fear and my mother bought some food.I was very unhappy,because I could not played out side.
Then I went to the zoo whit my sister.I was very happy.Because I saw a lot of animals.They were very lovable.So I took photos of all animals.I loved the butterful the best.They were colourful and beautiful.My sister liked it too.
In summer holiday,I went to the places where the sun shines brightly.I went to where the see is blue too.All students had a happy summer holiday.

我一下飞船，一个长着红色皮肤，头上有一个像鸡冠的东西，满口金牙的火星人跑了过来，对着我叽里呱啦地说了一通火星语，我一句也听不懂，于是我拿出了探险家专用的翻译机，我把他的话录了下来，一翻译，才知道他在跟我说：“您好，这里是火星海洋世界，欢迎您的到来。”我跟着他来到售票处，在这里我看到了更多的火星人，他们有的眼睛长在头顶，有的.只有一只手………我买了张票，走进了火星海洋世界。我先看到了一只圆圆的动物，它全身火红火红的，只见它慢慢地缩小自己的身体，然后又猛地撑开，在它撑开的同时，它整个身体迅速地往前弹去。火星导游介绍到：“这是红细胞鱼，它主要吃火星海洋里的垃圾。”接着我又看到了一只长着20只眼睛的红鱼，它的牙齿又尖又长，向外翻着，样子非常丑。导游再次介绍到：“这是多眼鱼，它主要吃红细胞鱼和蓝色的小多眼鱼，是一种食肉鱼。”
过了一会，我看了看表，都到吃饭的时间了。我走进一家餐厅，准备点菜，但一看菜单，我傻眼了，上面连一个字都没有，服务员说：“这是一张隐形菜单，要沾水才能看到字。”我觉得太好玩了，我把菜单沾了沾水，菜单上的字慢慢的显现了出来。这时我才发现虽然火星的语言和地球的不一样，但文字却和地球的一样，我点了一碗汤和一碗面条。这汤里有很多我没见过的东西，正当我要好好品尝的时候，突然我听到一个熟悉的声音，“马楚铖，今天要升旗，你还不准备起来吗？”我惊醒过来，只见妈妈站在床头正瞪着我呢。
原来刚才只是个梦啊，要是是真的就好了……
