一到湄洲岛，我们就往妈祖庙那里走，到了妈祖庙，我就看到一尊14米多高的巨型石雕妈祖塑像屹立在山顶。据说，妈祖原名林默，出生于此岛，她生前出海救援很多的渔民和商船，后被尊为海神。历代朝廷还尊她为"天妃"、"天后"、"天上圣母"等封号。她就像神一样站在那里，保护着岛上的居民。我们还跟妈祖像拍了好多照呢！看完了妈祖像，我们来到了妈祖庙那边。妈祖庙修茸一新，雕梁画栋，金碧辉煌，规模宏大，已拥有殿、堂、楼、阁以及仪门、山门等10多座建筑，可漂亮了！
游完了妈祖庙，我来到了海滩边。大海湛蓝湛蓝的，一望无际。我迫不及待的跑向海边，没跑几步，我就感觉脚底下火辣辣的烫，虽然穿着鞋子，但是就像在火上行走，沙子的温度足以把一个生鸡蛋煮成一个熟鸡蛋。没办法，我就叫爸爸背我过去。到了海边，我把鞋子脱掉，让涌上来的.海水冲刷我的脚和腿，好凉快啊！时间差不多了，我恋恋不舍的离开海滩，离开湄洲岛。真希望时间可以停止在这快乐的时刻啊！
