小时候曾在电视上看到印度，一度以为它是个非洲国家。直到观看电影《贫民窟里的百万富翁》才渐渐对印度有些初步的概念。
印度有着自己独特的文化与宗教信仰，美食咖喱、理工计算机技术和泰姬陵闻名世界，同样在灿烂的文化背后，印度也是被贴上女性不受尊重，公众环境脏乱差等的反面标签。
印度为什么如此脏乱差，印度人可以将自己的室内环境整理得纤尘不染，但却在公众场合随地乱扔垃圾与随地大小便。其实不只是印度，大多发展中或是发展落后的国家都存在这种问题，但是印度人的民族特征让脏乱差问题更加突出。“破窗效应”和“大众悲剧”的理论可以很好解释印度人的性格特性。问题得不到及时的.解决，“破窗”暗示与纵容印度集体可以继续脏乱差的城市环境。这导致“大众悲剧”，并造成一种恶性循环。
其实每个国家的发展过程，尤其是社会转型时期，是各种民族的劣根性暴露无遗的过程，也是先进文化与文明意识逐渐建立起来的过程。现今发达国家英国，在工业文明时代伦敦被称“雾都”，追逐经济利益的同时为环境污染付出巨大的代价。曾经的法国巴黎随处可以动物的粪便，尤其的马粪，但如今巴黎市貌焕然一新，巴黎成为人们心驰神往的浪漫之都。

1。 头绪分明，脉络清楚
写好记叙文，首先要头绪分明，脉络清楚，明确文章要求写什么。要对所写的事件或人物进行分析，弄清事件发生、发展一直到结束的整个过程，然后再收集选取素材。这些素材都应该跟上述五个“ W ”和一个“ H ”有关。尽管不是每篇记叙文里都必须包括这些“ W ”和“ H ”，但动笔之前，围绕五个“ W ”和“ H ”进行构思是必不可少的。
2。 突出中心，详略得当
在文章的框架确定后，对支持故事的素材的选取是很关键的。选材要注意取舍，应该从表现文章主题的需要出发，分清主次，定好详略。要突出重点，详写细述那些能表现文章主题的重要情节，略写粗述那么非关键的次要情节。面面俱到反而使情节罗列化，使人不得要领。这一点是写好记叙文要解决的一个基本问题，也需要一定的技巧。如：
One night a man came to our house and told me， "There is a family with eight children。 They have not eaten for days。" I took some food with me and went。
When I finally came to that family， I saw the faces of those little children disfigured （破坏外貌） by hunger。 There was no sorrow or sadness in their faces， just the deep pain of hunger。
I gave the rice to the mother。 She divided the rice in two， and went out， carrying half the rice。 When she came back， I asked her， "Where did you go?" she gave me this simple answer， "To my neighbors — they are hungry also!"
3。 用活语言，准确生动
记叙文要用具体的事件和生动的语言对人、事、物加以叙述。一篇好的记叙文的语言既要准确、生动，又要表现力强，这样才能把人、事描写得具体生动，其可读性才强。试比较下面一篇例文修改的前后效果。
原文：
One day Xiaoqiang was wandering away。 He was soon lost among people and traffic。 He could not find the way back home and started crying。 Just then， two young students who were passing by found him standing alone in front of a shop and crying。 They went up to Xiaoqiang and asked him what had happened。 Xiaoqiang told them how he got lost and where he lived。 The two students decided to take him home。 Mother was pleased to see Xiaoqiang come back safe and sound。 She invited the two students into the house and gave them some money， but they didn＇t take it。 She served them with tea but they left。
修改后：
The other day， five-year-old Xiaoqiang left home alone and wandered happily in the street。 After some time， he felt hungry so he wanted to go back home。 But he found he was lost among the crowded people and heavy traffic。 When he could not find the way home， he started and crying。 Just then， two young students who were passing by from school found him sanding crying in front of a shop。 They immediately went up to him。
"Little boy， why are you standing here crying?" they asked。
"I want Mom， I go home。" said the boy， still crying。
"Don＇t worry， we＇ll send you home。"
And they spent the next two hours looking for the boy＇s house。 With the help of a policeman， they finally found it。
When the worried mother saw her son come back safe and sound， she was so thankful and she invited the students into her house。 Gratefully， she offered them some money， saying it was a way to express her thanks， but the young students firmly refused it and left without even a cup of tea。

昨天，爸爸给我买来了向往已久的《西游记》，今天拿到学校，课间与几位好友一起翻阅。这时，小刚正好拿着墨水瓶走过，乌黑的墨汁洒在我那本崭新的《西游记》上。这时老师走了进来，原来朋友们把这件事告诉了老师，老师先让同学们擦干地上的墨水，告诉我们：“你们先认真上课，下课以后再解决。”
“叮铃铃……”上课了，可是我这节课一直漫不经心，总是在想着被墨汁弄脏的书，那可是我盼望已久的西游记啊！终于，下课了，我连忙带着自己被墨汁弄脏的书进了班主任的办公室。一进办公室，我便发现小刚已经到了，我走了过去，小刚就对我说：“对不起，我不小心把墨水弄到了你的书上，我明天就还你一本新的。”说完，他低下了头。我看了，连忙说：“算了，没关系，墨水只碰了一点，你也不是故意的，就不用买新的给我了。”我摆摆手，老师最后也说话了：“没错，你们同学之间就应该团结友爱，互帮互助，原谅别人，善解他人！”“嗯！”小刚和我异口同声地回答。最终，小刚再一次和我道了歉。我们也成为了好朋友。
