“五一”假期（4月29日至5月1日）后，根据区教育局的统一要求，学校将调整作息时间。上午时间不变，中午增加午休时间。
在校午睡的学生，12：20进教室预备，12：30正式午睡，12：45学校关大门，1：30统一起床；为不影响在校午睡的学生，1：30开校门，在家午睡的学生，1：30后方可陆续到校，同时杜绝有的学生过早离家，在马路上或小区内玩耍逗留的安全隐患。
下午2：00预备，2：05正式上课，傍晚从安全的角度考虑分级部放学，清校时间分别是：初一级部5：45，初二级部6点，初三级部6：15。
学校将具体的时间表告知家长，目的是提醒家长调控好学生早晨和中午的到校时间，关注学生的到家时间，以掌握学生的行踪和动向，避免不良事件的发生。
学校倡导学生在校午睡，为保证学生午睡的纪律、秩序和质量，学校安排学生干部和值勤教师共同管理，班主任也随时关注午睡动态。但学校同时尊重家长和学生的意见，在自主自愿的原则下选择午休地点。
如果在家午休，必须要有家长监护，请家长认真负责，严格监督，确保学生按时午睡，提高午睡质量，保障下午的听课质量和听课效率。按时午睡对成长中的学生身心发育非常有帮助，希望家长辅助学生养成这种良好的习惯。
中午延长休息时间对学生来说是件好事，充分的休息、睡眠能让他们下午精力充沛、精神旺盛；但如果家长不能给予很好的.配合，势必会导致学生的管理出现疏忽和漏洞。
那么，学生不但得不到很好的休息，影响下午上课，而且还会滋生很多安全隐患，发生诸如进出网吧、游戏厅、台球厅，与社会不良青年交往等负面行为。因此，请家长一定不辞辛苦，紧密联系学校，家校联合起来，让孩子睡好午觉，养精蓄锐，让午睡成为孩子下午学习的倍增器。
另外，夏季来临，气温升高，细菌滋生蔓延很快，极易造成疾病的传播和流行，请家长安排好孩子的午餐，做好孩子的思想工作，告诫孩子不吃街边流动摊点、露天摊点、无证商贩提供的烧烤等没有质量保证的不洁食品，把好病从口入关。
班主任老师将定期反馈学生在校午睡的情况，也请家长细心观察，发现问题，及时主动地和班主任老师联系。

Founder of Labor Day
More than 100 years after the first Labor Day observance， there is still some doubt as to who first proposed the holiday for workers.
Some records show that Peter J. McGuire， general secretary of the Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners and a cofounder of the American Federation of Labor， was first in suggesting a day to honor those "who from rude nature have delved and carved all the grandeur we behold."
But Peter McGuire"s place in Labor Day history has not gone unchallenged. Many believe that Matthew Maguire， a machinist， not Peter McGuire， founded the holiday. Recent research seems to support the contention that Matthew Maguire， later the secretary of Local 344 of the International Association of Machinists in Paterson， N.J， proposed the holiday in 1882 while serving as secretary of the Central Labor Union in New York. What is clear is that the Central Labor Union adopted a Labor Day proposal and appointed a committee to plan a demonstration and picnic.
