要说在本学期内我最喜爱的一本书，那自然是《简·爱》喽。
自从学了《小草和大树》这篇课文后，我就对从逆境中成长的夏洛蒂·勃朗特写的《简·爱》着迷起来。
小说中的简·爱出生于一个穷牧师家庭，在她很小的时候，父母由于染上伤寒，在一个月内相继去世。年幼的简寄养在舅妈家里，受尽歧视和瘧待。后来，简被送进劳渥德孤儿院。孤儿院教规严厉、生活艰苦，她在那里接受了八年的教育。
从孤儿院出来后，简到桑菲尔德庄园做家庭教师，并与主人罗切斯特相爱了。他们在教堂举行婚礼，可是婚礼当天，她才知道罗切斯特多年前已经结婚。法律阻碍了他们的爱情，使两人陷入了深深的痛苦之中。
在一个凄风苦雨之夜，简离开了罗切斯特。后来桑菲尔德庄园在一场大火中烧成废墟，纵火的疯女人坠楼身亡，罗切斯特也受伤并残疾。简·爱受尽磨难，最后原谅了罗切斯特，并与他结了婚，过上了幸福的生活。
这本书里的情节时常让我潸然泪下，对简·爱报以深深的同情。夏洛蒂·勃朗特和简·爱一样，都是在受尽磨难后依靠坚强的意志昂首挺胸。可以看出她们的人生主张一爱与尊严，两者缺一不可。
人生的道路是坎坷的，只有你有强大的信念、刚强坚韧的内心和坚持不懈的努力，才能通向幸福的大门。这是这本书告诉我的道理。

那天，我虽然花了两小时将此书“啃”光，但却花了几个星期的时间将它不停的回味。十六岁一个不该轻言“爱”的花季却想说：“他们如此坚定的爱情真是令人羡慕！”——简，没有双亲，没有钱财，雪上加霜的是她并不漂亮。因此她在世人眼中她更失去了魅力！可罗切斯特一点也不在乎这一切而将自己那颗火热的心赤裸裸的交给了简。随后，回来的简，再次看到这位曾经俊俏的罗切斯特为了救自己已“疯”的妻子而失明并且残废。即使是如此巨大的糟糕的变化，却一点也没改变简对他的爱。简毅然重新回到他身边，无微不至的照顾他！
大概正是这颗不离不弃的“真心”感动了上天，在书的结尾罗切斯特先生最终再次“重见光明”。给我们以书外，漫漫的深思。女主人公并没有《红楼梦》中林黛玉的柔情，没有《傲慢与偏见》中伊丽莎白的美丽，但她“简”以自己的顽强独立获得了众人的肯定。

早晨7点，闹钟响了，我看了看窗户，外面灰蒙蒙的，心里想：在其它季节，此时还是五、六点钟呢。我走在上学的路上，风一吹，感觉凉飕飕的。树叶像蝴蝶一样落下来，周围的动物也不叫了。地上的草枯黄了，它们像一群顽强的战士与冬天进行一场持久的战斗。这使我感觉到冬天的寒冷。
广州的冬天有时寒冷，有时又很温暖。温暖的时候阳光灿烂，人们脱掉厚厚的棉衣，甚至有些年轻女孩穿上了裙子。大人带着小孩到野外放风筝，你会发现：榕树、四季青等树绿的让人忘记了季节，顽强的木棉树在冬天依然如火绽放。别处的青蛙都冬眠了，根本见不到踪影，可是有时孩子们在草丛里会惊奇地发现一只冻僵的小青蛙，也许是因为白天太暖和，它以为春天来了就跑出洞，可到了晚上气温下降，就把它冻僵了。
这就是广州的冬天，很多老人都喜欢在这里过冬，因为温暖。可是我喜欢北方的冬天，因为那里下雪时可以玩雪。
