小小的我们是长辈的掌上明珠，被呵护着，被照料着，被疼爱着，更是被惯着。我们惬意地躺在舒适柔软的婴儿床里，过着衣来伸手，饭来张口的公主般的生活，连睡觉也少不了人哄着，我们需要做的就是吃好睡好。

渐渐地，我们开始学会了走路，认字，也开始咿呀学语了。父母耐心地教导我们，教我们学会说“爸爸”“妈妈”，当我们吞吞吐吐，带着稚嫩的语气说出这几个字时，父母的脸上再度泛起丝丝微笑，而这笑像是会传染似的，我们也傻傻地笑了。但除了笑，其实更多的是伤。在学走路的时候，我们一次又一次地摔倒，也可以理解为是与大地母亲的拥抱。但不论怎样理解，痛，都是可以明显地感受到的。再小的伤，对于一个不知道什么叫痛的小小孩来说，都会是疼得钻心，所以，哭，也是于情于理了。

日子也无可奈何地长大了。我们带着好奇，也同样是兴奋，跨进了学堂。对于多数人来说，这兴奋都是心来潮，随着时光的流逝，课堂的`乏味就会把这些兴奋冲洗得一干二净。取而代之的就是对此的厌烦。但宿命不可违背，在强迫下，一切都还在继续。

我们离开了家，离开了一贯的父母的依赖，也离开了他们的束缚，到也许会是一个很遥远的地方闯荡自己的天地。于是，我们再度去到一个完全陌生的地方，那里没有现成的亲情，友情和温暖，只有陌生和恐惧。我们又是在无奈和逼迫下，重新认识那里的一切。

渐渐地，白发钻了出来，皱纹也爬上了我们的脸。或许对我们来说，什么青春，什么美艳，都没有了。我们整日整日地在家里无所事事，漫无目的地，慢悠悠地转来转去，过着人们所谓的安详的生活，享受着人们所谓的清福。

那一刻，我们永远地合上了双眼，或许是满足，又或是遗憾，总之都已经离开了。

那一刻，我们才明白了生命的意义。

那一刻，我们的命运也就结束了。

原来，生命就是如此，人生就是如此。
