几年前，母亲随口说的一句话，仍存留在我心灵深处。不知为何，她的那句话，她那时面部的表情，如此难以忘却，无论风吹雨打，还是艳阳高照，都铭记在心。
我小学的时候，成绩非常不好，不及格是非常正常的现象，妈妈每次看到我的成绩都皱着眉毛，浓浓的忧愁。再加上邻居家的孩子成绩非常好，这令她更难过了，每次大人们谈孩子时都躲得远远的。
一次期末考试，那是我有史以来分数最低的一次，成了班里倒数第一，也因此，开家长会时妈妈被老师留到了最后，谈了谈话，回到家时，妈妈身上充满了低气压。那一天，刚好下着大雨，天空没了往日的蔚蓝，乌黑一片，轰隆隆，雷声猛烈地响着。妈妈来到我身旁，脸上也是阴沉沉的，满满的哀痛，眼尾有些微红，又有点湿润，我不由得想：她是哭了吗?我的思绪被妈妈打断，她最初说了什么，现在我也记不清多少了，唯一记得“我们只是普通人，你要记住，对于你来说，只能好好学习，不要像爸爸妈妈一样，每天都很累，却挣不了多少钱，你要努力，再努力，拼尽全力，不要走爸爸妈妈这样的路。”从那以后，我奋发图强，成绩逐渐上升，心中一直记得那时发生的一切，每当坚持不下去时，就会想起她的话。
