I know you are fond of swimming. A river lies not far away from my home. We can go swimming there. I think it would be very pleasant and refreshing to swim in such hot summer days. In every big room of my home there is an air-conditioner. We can watch TV, play CDs or read books very comfortably at home.
A mountain about two miles away from here is beautiful and it is worth touring. We can go there on foot. When we climb to the top of the mountain, we can have a wonderful bird-eye view of the whole village. Just phone me before you set off. There is no need for you to take anything. Ill prepare everything for you.

我有一个好朋友，名叫小红。以前我是最不喜欢小红，小红是她奶奶带着，爸爸妈妈在外地打工，所以她穿的衣服裤子很土，头发也很乱乱的，我走路时总是躲着她，但从一件小事中，我明白了她是那么善良可爱。
一天早晨妈妈从梦中叫醒，我拉开窗帘一看，哇!怎么西边有乌云，东边有阳光。我连忙穿起衣服，一看表快七点了。我赶紧背起书包，跑进餐厅，拿了一块面包向门外跑去。妈妈在后面喊：“拿伞”!我一边跑一边回答：“不用了。”放学的时候，我听到哗哗——哗哗的声音，原来是下雨了，我想：要是听妈妈早上说的话就好了，我只有冒着雨回家了，我刚走出校门，突然，小红叫住我了，她好像看出了我的心思，对我说：“你拿我的伞打着回家吧，你的家有点远，我家就在附近。”说完，转身就走了，这时，我的喉咙好像被块石头塞住似的，只觉得泪水快要留下来，我拿着伞头也不回地走了，第二天，小红没来上课，原来她是昨天被雨淋病了，我这才觉得小红是那么善良。从此以后，我和小红就成了好朋友。
从这件小事中，使我明白看人不能以貌取人。要看她的心灵是否美丽。
