那是值得庆祝的一个晚上，我们一大家人坐在一起吃饭。吃到一半的时候，姥爷说要讲几句话，我们大家都鼓掌欢迎。看得出，姥爷心情很好。他首先感恩姨夫、姨妈，感恩他们作为家里的老大，为我们这个大家庭无私奉献，为弟弟妹妹做出了榜样，并且无怨无悔，我们这个大家庭今天的幸福生活与他们的付出是分不开的。我们都听得很认真，并且都非常赞同姥爷的观点。然后姥爷又恭喜舅舅一家买上了新车，祝贺妈妈学出了驾驶证。接连的几件好事，让大家都很高兴。大人们都忍不住多喝了几杯。姥爷更是破天荒喝上了酒。
就在这时，舅妈问有一个菜是不是还没上，服务员看了一下菜单说是。舅妈没听见，又问了一遍，舅舅有些不耐烦说：人家不是说了吗。“是吗？”舅妈小声嘀咕，“我不是没听见吗！”两人小小的争执，我们都没怎么在意。也许这在别人家更算不上什么问题。可在我们这个大家庭不行。姥爷当时非常恼火，大声斥责舅舅。还说舅舅有一次对姥姥说话不够客气，说舅舅这样就是不孝顺，对人就是不礼貌，要重新学学《弟子规》，说得舅舅抬不起头来。
其实在我看来妈妈你们姐弟几个对姥姥、姥爷已经很孝顺了，可是姥爷依然还是那样严格要求你们，而你们姐弟几个却从没有怨恨姥姥、姥爷的批评，而是自己的不对。
父母大人，也许你已经忘了那晚的事情，这在你们看来也许是一件不起眼的小事。可是却给我留下了深刻的印象。让我想到了自己，想到了平时对你们的态度，真是有些惭愧。尽管在你们看来我是个好孩子，可我有时却做不到你们对待长辈那样感恩、孝顺。
百孝顺为先。对父母“孝”，首先要做到“顺”。父母大人，是你们把我带到这个温暖的家，让我吸收这个家的最优良的“养分”——孝德。今后，我一定要做的更好，做好这个家庭的一份子，做一个有“孝德”的人。父母大人，感恩你们，感恩你们让我懂得怎样做人，如何尽孝！如果有来生，我还是喜欢来到这个家，喜欢做你们的女儿！父母大人，我会感恩你们的。
