生活中的简单与不简单，在一定意义上讲是相对的，简单累积到一定程度就趋于复杂，复杂沉淀到一定程度就变成“简单”，从不简单到简单就是简单化的过程，简单化之后留下的才是事物的本真。大道至简，任何复杂问题背后，都有它存在发展的规律，都有决定它、支配它的主要矛盾。许多世界级的管理大师用一生的论证的答案，往往不过是一些极简单的结论。现在有些人背负着功名利禄的重压，生活被设立在无数的标准之中，不再关注内心的感受。一旦放下功名利禄的重压，砸破密不透风的心灵枷锁，不一样的风景其实就在眼前。
一口古井，虽然幽深但若不失澄澈，就可以一眼望到井底。人也一样。有时候，一个人可以一眼望到底，并不是因为他太过简单、不够深刻，而是因为他太过纯净。至纯的灵魂，原本就是一种撼人心魄的深刻。这样的简单，让人敬仰。有的人看起来很复杂，很有深度，其实，这种深度是城府的深度，而不是灵魂的深度。这种复杂，是险恶品性的交错，而不是曼妙智慧的叠加。与其把自己装进复杂的套子里，何如心思敞亮地和世界对话？
知足者常乐，宽容者愉悦，做一个简单的人，就当洁身、正性、清心、明志。简单的生活不但可以放松心境，还能增加精神层面的积淀。难怪孔子在与弟子们漫谈人生理想时，会非常赞赏曾皙所说的“春服既成，冠者五六人，童子六七人，浴乎沂，风乎舞雩，咏而归”。人生幸福莫过于崇尚简单并身体力行。要善于发现生活中的简单，就是要在纷繁的世相中找到那单纯、平凡、简洁的成分，而不是戴上有色眼镜把社会看成一片污浊。如此，也就得到了最大的快乐。
儿时，幸福是一件实物；长大之后，幸福是一种状态。然后有一天，我们才发现，幸福既不是实物，也不是状态，幸福是一种领悟。发现生活中的简单，也可以理解为是一种清醒、一种成熟。
