生育我们的人是母亲，养育我们的人是母亲，陪伴我们的人自然也是母亲。
自我们“呱呱”落地以后，母亲就开始备受煎熬了，她为我们的成长承受了多少难以想象的'痛苦。说到这，我不禁想起了一首唐代诗人孟郊的著名诗——《游子吟》：
慈母手中线
游子身上衣。
临行密密缝，
意恐迟迟归。
谁言寸草心，
报得三春晖？
正如这首诗中所说，我们应当报答母亲。今天正好是“三八妇女节”，我们首先要对母亲说一声“节日快乐！”，其次应当为母亲做一些力所能及的事情；如：帮妈妈洗碗，帮妈妈洗衣服，帮妈妈洗脚等等，而我就准备做最前面的一项。
傍晚迈着悄悄的脚步来临了，当我们一家人全都吃完饭后，我主动地提出了“我帮妈妈洗碗”，话音刚落，就立刻得到了老妈的赞许。于是，我就开始了我的工作。
我首先把所有用过的盆、碗、碟放到了池子里面，然后在一个较大的盆子里面倒了些水，又放了一些洗洁精；一分钟不到，盆中立刻起了许多沫子，我准备把所有要洗的餐具放到其中过一遍。当我才把第一个碗放入盆中时，就在水与皮肤互相接触的一刹那间，我突然感到了一种寒冰入骨的冷，这种感觉立刻传遍了全身，使我不禁打了好几个冷战。
这时，我想起了母亲，平日里她是如何承受这种刺骨之寒的呢。不知不觉，我觉得有些对不起她，因为母亲为我付出的实在是太多太多了，多得可以与海中的礁石、天上的繁星媲美了，而我却无以回报！我以后一定要多帮母亲做一些家务，帮母亲多分担些家务。我以后要更加发奋图强、努力学习，报答母亲对我的爱。
要知道，我们的母亲时时刻刻都在关心着我们、注视着我们呀！她希望我们有一个美好、光明的前程。讲到这，我又不禁想起了一首曾风靡全国的歌曲：
“世上只有妈妈好，有妈的孩子像块宝……”。
