我们学校有个特色，每个星期四都有外出活动。记得在我们一年级的'时候，全校组织去了吴山广场。我们在吴山广场进行了一场别开生面的比赛，比赛项目有挖地雷、跑步、登山等等。最有意思的是挖地雷。老师们在吴山广场“埋”了许多“地雷”，让每个班的同学都去“挖地雷”，然后把“挖”来的“地雷”交给班主任老师，看看哪个班“挖”得多，哪个班就获胜。开始，同学们都“挖”得很仔细，一个角落一个角落地“挖”，不肯放过任何一个细小的角落，有时，两个同学同时发现一个“地雷”时，还要抢呢！可是到后来，“地雷”的数量渐渐地少了下去，同学们“挖地雷”已经不像开始那样认真仔细了，都觉得“地雷”已经没有了。最后，这场比赛结束了，同学们竟然有好几个“地雷”都没有发现。比赛结束后，我们懂得了：做事要认真仔细，绝不能马虎。登山比赛也很有意思。同学们你追我赶，不分上下，有的同学走台阶，还有的同学走斜坡，走斜坡的同学跌跌撞撞，步伐有时快，有时慢，所以，到最后，走台阶登山的同学赢了走斜坡的同学。登山活动，不仅锻炼了我们的身体，还增强了我们的毅力。
从三年级开始，我们班又建立了雏鹰假日小队，每个星期都有活动。一次，我们雄鹰假日小队和太阳花假日小队联合起来，搞了一次有意义的活动。我们在海军疗养院举行了一次小小运动会，运动会分两个队举行，比了迎面接力，“烤小猪”等各种各样的比赛。经过几轮激烈的比赛，我们选出了优胜队，并颁发了奖品。
