半年前，我家里遭受了巨大的变故，父亲在外面打工时受伤住进了医院，母亲也被检查出犯有结石和肝病。拮据的生活让我进入了尴尬的境地，作为家中的姐姐，我是继续读书还是辍学?我和弟弟上学的费用，让这个本来就贫困的家庭雪上加霜;去打工吧，我心有不甘，再说一个十三岁的孩子，又能做什么呢?但是看着躺在病床上瘦小的父亲，30多岁的人头上已有了白发，那微驼的脊背让瘦小的父亲看起来更小了。母亲身体不好需要常年服药，年幼的弟弟要抚养、还要赡养爷爷奶奶，父亲真的很难。我知道，父亲常年外出打工就是为了一家老小的生计。我不能再给父母增添负担了，我暗暗地下定决心，我要去打工赚钱，以减轻家庭的负担。那是2012年4月的一天，父亲为了我的读书问题，特意把我叫到床前长谈。我却先发制人地对父亲说，“我要去学理发挣钱盘弟弟读书。”“不行，你得继续读书，初中没读完就去打工能有什么出息?还不是像我一样的干最辛苦的活，重复我的人生，你一定得读书。”“读书，几千元的费用哪里去找?再说了，这点成绩去读高中，将来考大学也没有多大希望，我不去。”……就这样，我毅然丢下书包走进了发廊。父亲为此内疚了很久，我其实心里也不好受，但在父母面前，我一直表现得很坦然。一个月以后，我却意外地收到了学校叫我去继续读书的电话，原来学校了解到我家的情况后，给与我一定的资助，不仅如此，学校还免去了我的生活费，并且享受助学的优惠。这真是一件大好事，我们全家特别高兴。就这样在2012年的9月1日我又走进了复兴学校，这次难得的'读书机会让我们全家感激不尽。我的感恩是发自内心的，俗话说“滴水之恩，当涌泉相报。”我拿什么来报答我的学校?我知道，唯有自己好好表现，才是对学校和老师的最好报答。所以我刻苦努力，发奋读书，在各方面严格要求自己。天道酬勤，我一直成绩优秀，表现出色，班主任老师让我担任班干部的职务，思想上我积极要求上进，在学校里学习，我如鱼得水，对学习非常感兴趣。俗话说，兴趣是最好的老师，我的学习成绩突飞猛进，被评为学校的学习之星。我知道，这是我对父母、对学校、对老师最好的报答。我深信，我的明天会更好!
