根据“九义”初语新教材安排，初一每学期学生练习写“放胆文”。当时学生对写作理论不大留意，即便习作中曾使用过某些技巧，也多出于不自觉状态。学习了二册中一个单元的课文及其后的写作知识后，学生对于该单元要求掌握的写作技巧，有了一定的认识。但写作构思时，由于受“放胆”的思维定势的影响，往往还是先考虑情节、语言等因素。当根据单元写作训练内容，要求他们着意运用一种写作技巧时，有的学生觉得作文的框框多起来了，产生畏难情绪；有的认为已使用过这种技巧而掉以轻心。对此，如不调动全体学生主动掌握该种技巧的积极性，落实训练重点就会成为任课教师“一头热”，收不到满意的效果。因此，每一次写作训练之前，教师首先要让学生翻阅自己以前的习作，回顾以往是否运用过这种技巧，运用得恰当与否，教师根据批改作文的记载或当堂挑选了运用这种技巧成功的作文和不会运用这种技巧的典型例文，结合知识短文讲评。这样以理论文，让学生切身到，对一种技巧运用得成功与否，决定着自己作文的成败。运用过这种技巧的学生，如同着装得体，受人羡慕一样，会更自觉更娴熟地加以运用；没有运用过的学生，也如查出自身病灶，积极健身，以便尽快掌握本次写作技巧。
