为什么说是梭罗的'？因为瓦尔登湖的景色并不起眼，在别人眼里可能只是一个带有杂树的野湖，但梭罗却把它写成了一个美丽的风光。
梭罗在瓦尔登湖畔隐居了两年两个月，他像一个原始人过着简单的生活。他自己造居住的小屋，自己摘野果、钓鱼，接泉水填饱肚子，所有事都自己做。在那里他把湖边的小动物当成邻居。
本书代序中说：“梭罗的手不仅拿笔，也拿斧子；梭罗的眼睛不仅看书，也看绿树、青草、落日和闪动着波光的湖水。”没错，在他隐居的这些年，他最好的伙伴就是瓦尔登湖。
瓦尔登湖在清朗的夏天是蔚蓝色，在白雪皑皑的冬天是草绿色。梭罗这样描述“一会儿蓝，一会儿绿，位于天地之间，自然兼具天地之色”
梭罗觉得，如果你喜欢某处地方，你就应该去那兜圈子，应该将它牢牢地记住。
梭罗喜欢瓦尔登湖，并将它牢牢地记住了，因此瓦尔登湖变成了梭罗的湖。

我曾试着与父母对话，最终只是以“快去学习，学习都不好还怎样谈心?”一些草率的话收场。父母严厉的话语充斥在耳畔。仿佛一把把利刃，狠狠地伤害了我热切的、想与人交流的心。
我也曾试着与同龄人对话，望着嘈杂的人群。我旁踱步，默默地靠拢过去。听着那些明星的花边新闻，有的名字十分耳熟有的却从未听过。我注视着一张张再熟悉不过的笑脸。竞觉得如此陌生，我握紧拳也笑着加入了她们的行列。大声地将自己见过的、听过的讲了出来。说完，满意地看着早已笑声震耳的她们，我小心地退了回去。不料手臂却被其中的领头抓住。“喂，你跟我们一起玩吧。”那个女生说道，手臂上传来一阵痛楚。“好”。我使劲地将她的手甩开。此后，我的身旁围绕着一些爱笑的女生。每天像是有说不完的开心事一样，在我的耳畔大笑，占据了我原本安静的生活。
我望着被寒风吹散的花朵，花瓣在空中飘荡。洋洋洒洒，好一阵无人问津的悲凉。在风中瑟瑟发抖的花心诉说着无人明白的孤独。如同现在的我，有一群可有可无的人在身边围绕着。欲风则散，毫无友情可言。我依旧有着无法诉说的对话。她们占据了我的全部生活，我只能为自己的时间暗暗担忧。我与同龄人的对话只是限制于八卦交流里，丝毫不会将自己心中所想表达出来。不愿吐露，也无人倾听。
夜深了，只得与自己心中的寂寞对话。
