老师根据自己的了解，认真分析了两个学校的情况，也说是旗鼓相当，没有什么太大的差别，至于择取哪个学校，关键还得看自己的孩子的学习情况和性格特点。我觉得老师的这个观点很好，适合孩子的就是最好的。但是我又有点不理解，择取名校是每个家长的愿望，进了名校对孩子的学习会有帮助，这和孩子的性格有什么关系呢？
老师说：“不管是名校还是普通学校，学校里都有竞争，有压力，越是名校，家长、学生的竞争力就越大，如果孩子的性格比较内向，说严重点，就是有点自卑，那么在如此激烈的竞争下，孩子一旦遇到点挫折，就会降低孩子的学习激情，孩子就会封闭自己，影响孩子健康的成长。如果孩子是一个坚强、自信的人，敢于向困难挑战，把压力变成动力，遇到挫折也不低头，那竞争力越大，对孩子的成长就越有好处。”
那个家长问：“老师，你说学校的竞争里那么大，如果我的孩子在班里的学习成绩不是很好，老师会冷淡孩子，同学会看不起孩子，是不是？”
老师说：“老师和同学不会冷淡、看不起孩子的。我说的是孩子自身的问题。比如说，孩子的成绩一开始处于前茅，由于某种原因，孩子下滑了，这个时候就会出现两种情况：心眼小的孩子自怨自艾，心里总放不下，成了一种心理负担，可能会影响下面的学习，而心眼比较大的孩子呢，就会分析原因，找出差距，发奋努力，迎头赶上。这和孩子的性格有关。所以我觉得关键的还是要根据孩子的性格择取适合孩子的学校。”
“哦，那你说老师，我的这个孩子适合上什么样的学校？”家长非要老师拿个主意。
老师想了想说：“这个孩子比较坚强、开朗、豁达，就要给他找一个竞争比较激烈的学校，这样，孩子能找到一些合适的竞争对手”
“竞争对手？”，我不明白老师的意思，我们都在教育孩子团结合作，为什么要自找对手呢？
老师笑了笑，说：“是呀，你们以为择校是择什么呀？”
我和那位家长相互看看，说：“不是哪个学校的设施好，老师教得好吗？”
老师又笑了：“仔细想想，不是这样的。我们都是在给孩子择校、择班、择老师，其实最重要的应该是择生，也就是选取适当的.同学。”
“同学怎么选？”我和那位家长几乎是异口同声问出了这个问题。
“也就是看个学校的生源呀。学校的竞争，其实不是知识的竞争，而是同龄人之间的竞争，必须有合适的竞争圈子，才能保证自己有绝对获胜的把握。也就是说我们选择的应该是有实力有代表性的同学，也就是孩子的竞争对手。孩子所在的学校，必须要有自己的竞争对手，才能给孩子充足的学习机会和上进的动力。当然，我说的对手不是敌手，而是让孩子为自己找一个优秀的参照物，不断的激励自己，吸取别人的优点，锻炼自己，让自己能够不断的迎接机遇和挑战，这样才利于孩子不断的成长。对手完全可以成为孩子的伙伴和朋友。”
“那如果孩子根本就赶不上人家，慢慢的自己泄气了，怎么办？”那个家长又提出了自己的疑问。
“这就需要我们家长多引导孩子呀。还有也就是我刚才说的要根据孩子的情况来择校。孩子的参照物也不宜一下子选的太高，这样会让孩子感到遥不可及，失去信心的。”老师这样说。
我明白了老师的意思：为孩子选取学校，要根据孩子的情况，重点学校不一定适合所有孩子的发展，为孩子选取了重点也不是意味着孩子就一定能成才了，就可以安枕无忧了。关键的是我们要引导孩子在学校的学习中找到合适的竞争对手，让孩子在竞争中激励自己，提高自己，培养孩子的坚强、自信的性格品质，这样才更利于孩子的学习和成长。
忽然想起不知在什么地方看到的这样的一句话：作为一个英雄最大的悲哀并不是被别人打败，而是在征战的疆场上没有一个可以与之比高低的对手。
看来，孩子上学，最重要的不是择校、择班、择老师，而是择生，为孩子创造合适的竞争条件，择取合适的竞争对手。

I am the third officer working in the deck department. As you know, the third officer is responsible to the master for the proper performance of his assigned bridge watchstanding and navigational duties.
On board, my first daily work is wathckeeping from 8 to 12 and from 20 to 24. my second daily work is in charge of the maintance of the fire-fighting equipment and life-saving equipment. The third , I am also responsible for fire and boat drills, I have to design a muster list and make crew to know the best escape route clearly. Additionally, there are also some simple things I have to do in daily work.
