Mother is always the greatest person in the family, because she takes care of everything, she does all the housework, though she is a housewife, what she is so heavy and great. I nearly help my mother to do the housework, when I go home after school, I always go out to play with my friend and then until the dinner, I will come back. 今天，天公不作美，外面老是在下雨，害得我不能出去玩。上午，我把作业做完了，下午我一个人在家里玩无聊了。就在我闷得发愁的时候，我的耳边突然传来了妈妈的“圣旨”：“快给我拿拖把来！”我很不情愿地帮妈妈拿来了拖把。妈妈又对我说：“你看看你的房间，那么脏，还不赶快去打扫打扫！”我虽然很不乐意，但我又想起妈妈是名符其实的“母老虎”，万一我不答应，她把我“吃”了，那可怎么办？想到这儿，我只好照着妈妈的意思去办。
当我打扫完房间时，我已经汗如雨下了，可没想到妈妈又命令我把客厅打扫一下。这时，我实在是忍不住了，大声对妈妈说：“你还有完没完啊！一会儿让我干这个，一会儿又让我干那个，就不能让我休息一下吗？”妈妈听了生气地说：“你现在胆子越来越大了啊，还敢跟我顶嘴！让你做你就做，哪来那么多的废话！”妈妈的'话彻底把我的嘴缝住了，我一句话都不敢说了。
我花了很多很多时间，终于把客厅打扫地一干二净。我兴奋地跑到妈妈那里，想让妈妈来检查一下。可我却看见妈妈也忙得不得了，干这干那的，累得满头大汗的。原来，妈妈比我更辛苦呢！这时，我心里很难受，想起刚才跟妈妈顶嘴是多么不应该啊！
妈妈看着干净的家，对我说：“有这么干净的家，也有你一份功劳哦！”说完，还在我脸上亲了一下。我顿时感到心里美滋滋的！
