到了比赛那一天，随着一阵清脆的脚步声，老师快步走进教室，几十双眼睛“唰”地全都目不转睛地注视着老师。老师对大家说：“请小朋友们脱下各自的外套，大家五个人一组，排好队，注意看老师的信号。”
老师的哨子刚一响，小朋友们就争先恐后地穿起衣服来。有的小朋友动作快，不一会儿就穿好，扣上钮扣就举手了。老师先是一愣，接着风趣地说：“你的纽扣进错家门了。”小朋友低下头，不好意思地笑了。
轮到明明这一组了，明明眼疾手快，他先套上头，然后把手伸了出来，快速地三两下就穿好了。可是他扭头一看，哭着跑了。原来，明明把衣服穿反了，明明不能得到这一组的冠军，伤心极了。
接下来的'一组有个好听的名字，叫胜利队。其中的一个队员叫强强，是个自信心很强的小朋友，他认为冠军非他莫属。可在比赛时，他傻了眼，因为他还在穿第一件时，别人就穿好了。最后强强败下阵来，强强皱皱眉头，想：上次我赢了，这次为什么输得这么惨呢？
这件事告诉我们，做事一定要细心，不能老想着快。
