“兴趣是否是最好的老师”这句话本身有两个论点，一是“是否”，二是“最好的”。大概你们第一想到的是“是否”，即“兴趣是最好的老师”和“兴趣不是最好的老师”;而说兴趣是否是“最好的”老师，这就未免极端了：亿万个人，亿万条成功之路，实在是松龄鹤寿各有千秋，又怎么能保证在每条成功之路上起关键作用的就是各自的兴趣呢？
而在这里，我们就讨论“是否”二字相信大部分人都会认同“兴趣是最好的老师”，可也有人曾对此提出过质疑。如潘小娴就写过以“兴趣不是最好的老师“为题的论文。据文中所述，潘小娴在大学初期兴趣广泛，每天都参加各类校园活动，她也相信兴趣是最好的老师，但长此以往，她渐渐发现，虽然自己会的东西很多，但却没有一技之长，直到她们中文系的新任副主任让她们每人背诵一百首古代文学作品，当她努力完成了任务时，她明白了兴趣并不是最好的老师，最重要的是要有一技之长，并为此坚持不懈，而“兴趣是最好的老师”仅限于启蒙阶段引起孩子们的学习兴趣罢了。
她说的也有道理，但只说明了问题的一部分。为什么呢？我认为，对于一些兴趣广泛的人来说，兴趣并不是最好的老师，因为兴趣过多，还想要鱼和熊掌兼得，这便要出问题了，单纯依赖自己的兴趣任意而为，只能带来浮光掠影的收获。一个人的事业不能像穿的衣服一样各式各样，要想成功就必定要确立一个明确的目标，并为此坚持不懈的奋斗，不能什么工作都想尝试一番，如果三心二意、任意妄为，又怎能成就一番事业呢？
然而，孔子说过“知之者不如好之者，好之者不如乐之者。”古今中外，有些人就是因为发展自己的一种兴趣而取得成功的。比如说牛顿，牛顿在一棵苹果树底下乘凉时，突然被一个从树上掉落下来的苹果砸到了头，他便产生疑惑：“为什么苹果往下掉而不往上飞呢？”就这样一个小小的问题机牛顿本身对此的兴趣使他发现了一个伟大的定律万有引力。再比如说我国古代科学家张衡，张衡从小就对夜空中的星星产生浓厚的兴趣，就是着这个兴趣及他的.不断努力使他画出了我国第一张星空图，首创天文仪器“浑天仪”，为我国的天文学研究事业做出了卓越的贡献。
结合上述，“兴趣是否是最好的老师”这个问题应该有了答案：兴趣可以说是最好的老师，又可以不是最好的老师。我的意见是更倾向于兴趣不是最好的老师，而这要结合自身情况判定。“兴趣是最好的老师”的确是孩子们启蒙阶段应该知道的，这有利于他们以后更好的学习，但不能硬加，兴趣过于广泛未必是好事，过犹不及！既然因兴趣广泛而应接不暇，不如通过改变兴趣来使“兴趣不是最好的老师”变成“兴趣是最好的老师”，让专一的兴趣真正地成为你成功之路的起点。

nowadays, we can see some boys and girls who live in a small world of their own. they bury themselves among books and are proud of themselves. they think that it will make them lose their face if they do housework for they often think themselves very noble.
these young people are wrong. in my opinion every student should have a knowledge of housework. after all, they will have a family of their own, and they should do their part in keeping a good home. boys should also learn to do housework, for what will they do if they remain single? though not all boys remain single,yet they will be very helpful in the family if they know some housework. anyhow they will not lose anything, but, on the contrary, they will gain something useful.
for what i said above, we can find some eamples of our fellow-students studying abroad. all young men do housework as girls do. someone would argue that we can employ servants. this is true.however, what shall we do if the servant leaves us and all things are left to ourselves? we just cannot leave our clothes as they are and let worms and ants eat them up. and what can we do it we go and study in a foreign country where servants are out our means to employ? we must work for ourselves. why not start to learn to do housework now or else it will be too late? everyone should learn to do housework. what do you think about my idea, boys and girls?

今天上午，我在火炬学校参加了青少年英语比赛，我怀着紧张的心情，走进了考场。
比赛之前，监考老师讲完规则后，每人发了三张试卷，其中一张答题卡，两张题目，铃声一响，比赛正式开始。
环节一：听力和默写。考生们纷纷拿出笔，做好了听写准备，监考老师在上面报单词，每个报两遍，考生在下面默写，过十几秒继续下一个单词。考生们都聚精会神在下面听和写，一个字也不说，安静得连考生的呼吸声都能听见，时间过得很快，不一会儿第一环节结束了。
环节二：笔试。第一题是选则题，我觉得比较简单，紧张的心情稍稍放松了一些。轻松的答题，很快便答完了。第二题是根据已知的问句用英语写答句，我看了很久，有点懵了，因为问句我看都看不懂，又没人问，根本做不出，结束铃声响了，到最后不得已放弃。
我真希望这次比赛能取得好成绩!
