these young people are wrong. in my opinion every student should have a knowledge of housework. after all, they will have a family of their own, and they should do their part in keeping a good home. boys should also learn to do housework, for what will they do if they remain single? though not all boys remain single, yet they will be very helpful in the family if they know some housework. anyhow they will not lose anything, but, on the contrary, they will gain something useful.
for what i said above, we can find some eamples of our fellow-students studying abroad. all young men do housework as girls do. someone would argue that we can employ servants. this is true. however, what shall we do if the servant leaves us and all things are left to ourselves? we just cannot leave our clothes as they are and let worms and ants eat them up. and what can we do it we go and study in a foreign country where servants are out our means to employ? we must work for ourselves. why not start to learn to do housework now or else it will be too late? everyone should learn to do housework. what do you think about my idea, boys and girls?

我的家庭是一个平凡的家庭，也是一个幸福的家庭。我们家和大多数家庭一样，只是一个普通的家庭，没有什么轰轰烈烈的事迹，但是全家人遵纪守法，互敬互爱，积极进取、爱岗敬业、乐于助人，家庭和睦、温馨，深受单位、邻里和社会的好评。
一、 互敬互爱，和谐维家
由于我们夫妻二人的工作性质，平时工作任务繁重，不能全身心照顾家庭，但我俩能互相理解、尊重、关心、支持，做什么事情有商有量。下班后就分工合作做家务，边做家务边交流工作情况、商量生活事情，沟通感情，如果谁的工作任务重，对方就主动做好家务，以此减轻彼此的工作负担。我们相互要求不仅要在单位做优秀职工，还要在家庭做称职的一员，更要在社会做文明的公民，追求社会公德、职业道德和家庭美德完美统一。我们既是生活中的伴侣，又是事业的相互支持者。
二、尊老教子、遵纪守法，以德育人
我们都热爱学习，积极进取，不断提高自身的修养，待人热情有礼，积极维护社会公德，诚实守信，严格遵纪守法，依法行使和履行公民的权利义务。并以身作则，把德、法贯
穿到教育子女中来。百善孝为先，因为，公公婆婆年岁已大，我们把老人从老家接到了身边，无论平时工作多忙，总会抽出时间陪老人聊天，讲些单位、社会上发生的趣事，对老人也是一种安慰。这些言谈举止潜移默化对孩子也产生很大影响，让他们从小养成了尊老爱幼的美德，以及思考问题和独立生活的能力。在生活上不溺爱，养成勤俭和独立的品格，教他们做人要坦诚，做事要严谨，树立远大理想，做对社会有用的人。
三、邻里和睦，热心公益
真心待人是我们全家的处事态度，我们一家人与邻居都能够和睦相处，邻居们有些事情做不了或需要帮忙，我们都热心帮助。我们一家人都希望通过自己的微薄之力为那些贫困的家庭解决一些燃眉之急，用自己的实际行动为和谐社会的创建贡献自己的一份力量。
四、崇尚科学，勤俭持家
我们的家庭倡导文明科学的生活方式，注重科学理财、合理消费、勤俭节约。家里面的每样东西能修复利用的，从来不轻易地丢弃，尽量使其再发挥作用。如：水龙头坏了，换个皮垫、加个螺帽就废物利用起来;全家人的洗衣水总是用盆接起来拖地或冲刷厕所;平时做到人走灯灭，养成随手关灯的良好习惯，注意节约每一度电和每一吨水。这一勤俭节约的意识已深入到每一个家庭成员之中，并成为全家人一种良好的生活习惯。
一个幸福、快乐、和谐的家庭需要每个家庭成员共同的努力。只有每个人都奉献一点爱，家才会更温暖，只有每个家庭都幸福了，我们的`社会也才会更和谐。

One day, Paula and Richard decided to make a kite.
First they went out and found two straight sticks of the same length. They brought them back home and tied them with a piece of string into the shape of a cross. Then they took some string and used it to tie the four ends of the sticks together. Then, they spread some brightly coloured paper over the frame and glued it around the string.They stuck a tail made of paper to one of the corners, and tied a long string to the centre of the kite.
On the next windy day, they took the kite to a hill near their house and flew it.
一天，保罗和理查德决定做一个风筝。
首先，他们出门找了两根一样长的直木棍。他们把木棍带回家，用一根绳子把它们绑成十字形。然后他们又拿了些绳子，把木棍的四个顶端连在一起。然后，他们把一些颜色鲜艳的纸涂上胶水，粘在风筝的框架上。他们将纸做的尾巴粘在一角，在风筝中间系上一根长绳。
