I was in a ship that was wrecked, and the waves cast me ashore near a holy temple, where several young maidens performed the service. The youngest of them found me on the shore, and saved my life. I saw her but twice, and she is the only one in the world whom I could love; but you are like her, and you have almost driven her image out of my mind. She belongs to the holy temple, and my good fortune has sent you to me instead of her;we will never part."

好人转身离开，走了两步又退了回来，青蛙的惨叫让他善良的心无比难过。这种偶遇也许就是上天的安排呢，此时此刻，他就是青蛙的救世主！
好人突然充满了使命感，他觉得自己的行动变得越发神圣，他暗下决心要救青蛙一命！
“放开那只青蛙！”好人用一根木棍儿指着蛇的头说：“否则，我可要亲自动手了！”
蛇看了看好人，冷冷一笑，然后说道：“你要把它从我这夺走吗？你可知道，我已经饿了很久，我用尽了最后的力气才把它抓住！此刻，它不再是一只青蛙。它是我的性命，你真要狠心夺走我的命吗？”

“扑棱棱！”一只老鹰从树上俯冲下来，一下扑到蛇身上！蛇和老鹰扭打在一起，蛇用身子缠住了老鹰的爪子，脖子却被老鹰紧紧的抓住。
这一切都被好人看了个正着，好人不能见不救，于是他对鹰说道：“放开那条蛇！”
鹰看了看好人，微微一笑，然后说道：“你要把它从我这夺走吗？你可知道，我已经饿了很久，我用尽了最后的力气才把它抓住！此刻，它不再是一只青蛙——哦，不对，不好意思，我说错了，应该是蛇。恩，它不再是一条蛇，它是我的性命，你真要狠心夺走我的命吗？”

“这……”好人又愣住了，这条蛇说的'好感人啊，简直是情真意切。虽然老鹰有些不情愿，但是在好人的压力下，蛇还是被放走了。
