Of course I am going to help my parents do some housework because they are busy with their work every day.I am going to spend a week in Shanghai with my parents so that we can see the expo. 我国是人口大国，上一次人口调查人口在13亿左右，是世界上人口最多的国家，人口总数的三人之一。我国地大物博、石油、陆地、矿产……资源应有尽有。我国资源多，人口也多，资源总会有用没的时候，可是人总要繁衍生息。面对这一难题，我国实行了计划生育这一政策，暂时解决了一部分难题。
我的邻居王阿姨是在三年前怀孕的，家里人都希望她能生个男孩。在王阿姨生下孩子的那一天，她的婆婆替她熬了一大锅的鸡汤，还放了许多很补身子的材料。汤熬好后，她的婆婆立马带到医院来。谁知，王阿姨生了一个女孩。对此，她的公公、婆婆非常失望，嘴边总是说着没有抱到孙子，没有传宗接代这几句话，王阿姨也觉得自己没有尽到责任，非常自责。那个时候，王阿姨甚至想再生一个孩子。她的公公婆婆甚至想要把不到1个月的孩子送人。当王阿姨的丈夫知道后，立刻放下工作，从外地赶回来。他觉得这个孩子是无辜的，不应该让她离开父母。而且，无论是男是女，毕竟是自己的孩子，应该让她得到自己该拥有的疼爱。而且，如果再生一个孩子的.话，也不一定抚养得起他。一个孩子也好，如果有两个孩子，也许会过分偏爱其中一个，另一个就会自卑。王阿姨的丈夫不停的劝导她，同时也对她的公公婆婆进行了劝导。在丈夫的劝导下，王阿姨不再自责，公公婆婆也不再责怪她，一个月的孩子也拥有了他应有的疼爱。现在，王阿姨一家非常的幸福，再也不会因为生的不是儿子发生争执了。
现在，国家计划生育只允许生一个孩子，人们也自觉遵守，人人都过上了幸福美满的生活。计划生育令人们家庭和谐，幸福，有着不可否认的好处。俗话说的好：计划生育好；致富又养老。少生孩子快致富，父母60岁有扶助。经过多年计划生育的管理，我国人口增长也越来越慢了，人们的生活条件也慢慢的提高了，都住进了高楼大厦，干起了小买卖，连农村人都可也当老板。现在我国发展飞突猛进，我相信再过上几十年，中国一定会成为最先进，最好的一个国家。

i am afraid that you will think me unpardonably negligent in not having answered your letter dated 7, december sooner, but when i have told you the reason, i trust you will be convinced that the neglect was excusable. when your letter arrived, i was just in hong kong. as my family could not forward it to me during my absence, it has been, therefore, lying on my desk until the moment when i took it up. now the first thing i have to hasten to do is to write to you these few lines to express my deep regret.
i enjoyed many pleasant sights during my trip. i shall be pleased to give you an account to of them when i see you next.
