本次比赛以班级为单位组队，每队共20人。其中文科班队男生5人，女生15人，理科班队男生15人，女生5人。每天共有6个班级进行比赛，中午12：50分准时开赛。比赛中，参赛选手一个个攥紧粗绳，使尽全身的力气，一分一寸地把绳子向后拉，未参加比赛的同学们则是组成了气势庞大的拉拉队，为自己班级的参赛选手们呐喊助威。加油声、呐喊声、欢呼声此起彼伏，响彻云霄。学校老师们也和学生站在一起，成为了拉拉队的一员，挥舞着双手，为同学们加油呐喊。

此次比赛旨在培养同学们团结协作、拼搏进取的集体主义精神。比赛以班为单位，采取男女混合、三局两胜制方式进行。由于班级较多，先进行抽签分组，每组优胜队晋级下一轮比赛。 比赛开始了，每班除了参赛队员以外，其他同学都自动组成拉拉队为本班加油。每场比赛都异常激烈，只见哨声一响，两边队员都整齐地往后倒、向后退，看来都预练了多次。男生个个都涨得面红耳赤，青筋爆粗；女生也毫不示弱，放下了平时的淑女风范，使尽浑身力气将绳拉向自己一方。绳中间的砝码也成了墙头草，在两边倒来倒去。拉拉队此时竭力大叫“加油”，在气势上也力求压住对方，大有火上浇油之势，一点也不比队员轻松。他们冲着队员大喊，手臂指挥他们向后退，好像在隔空传功，“一二三，加油！一二三，加油！”在这震破苍穹的气势下，本班队伍往往能够把绳向后拖一点。
比赛真是精彩纷呈，每场比赛一般都是第三局才能决出胜负，可见各队实力都相差不大，此时拼的就是团结了，团结就是力量！经过多场鏖战，来自影像系的影像二班代表队最终获得冠军，可谓实至名归，祝贺他们，这是属于集体的荣耀！希望他们能把这种势头带到学习中去，再创辉煌！
