许多同学惊得站起来，又在几秒钟内钻到桌下去。“演习！”“快蹲下！”“演习开始了！”嘁嘁喳喳的议论声不绝于耳，但很快就安静下来。猝不及防的我还没来得及反应，呆呆地站在座位上，蒋老师冲我急切地摆手：“蹲下！”我才反应过来，一头钻到桌下去，学同学们一样把书包挡在头上。我十分兴奋，偷眼看着其他同学：汤唯业背对着讲台方向，背靠桌腿儿，紧张地闭上眼；陈瑞昕头顶书包，手握桌腿儿，微微趴下，兴奋得眉毛颤动着；陈韵陶手支住下巴，嘴巴微张，目不转睛地盯住播放警报的播音器……比起那年汶川大地震，这次的演习同学们要稳重多了！警报再次响起，同学们匆忙但有序地分别从前、后门出去，教室外的走廊上人头攒动，其他班级的同学也和我们一样，紧张激动，脸涨得通红，却神情庄重，仿佛身上担负着神圣而重大的使命。楼梯显得格外拥挤，但相互陌生的各班同学却不约而同相互谦让，避免摔倒。我们迅速地来到操场，集体蹲坐在草坪上，同学们有的凝视着某一处，有的侧耳凝神，有的默默合上手掌虔诚地祈祷。我心中释然，仰望天空，一群大雁在空中翩然飞翔。生命是多么自由而美好啊！

原来这是棋子在争吵的声音。司令说：“我是所有棋子中职务最高的一个人员，就是军长我也能够吃掉他。”“你能够夺军旗吗？”军长轻轻一声，司令就没有话可以说了，只得闭口不说了。这时，那一些师长、旅长、团长异口同声地说：“我们也能够夺军旗呀！”“你们有我大吗？碰到对方的军长就会给他统统吃掉。”“没有！”他们低声说。地雷发话了：“我们三兄弟组成三角地雷来保护军旗，你有办法独自一人来夺吗？”工兵冲出来说：“那我可以前来挖呀！那主人为什么不重用我呀！”军长听到这时才说话了：“等你挖出地雷以后，我照样可以再来吃掉你呀！”“你找得到我吗，我在铁道线上可以来去随意，走得飞快，简直可以直接到达任何一个地方。”“那我就可以派出许多部下堵住你，然后把你捉住吃掉！”这一说，工兵也就没有什么话可以再说了。这时，炸弹跳了出来说：“你不要得意，我可以和你同归于尽。”这时，其他的棋子纷纷说：“我们都走，让他光杆司令一个人。”连行营也说：“军长，你太自大了，别进我家！”军长看到犯了众怒，知道再不道歉是不行了，立刻降低声音向大家道歉。

这时我看见了一个筐子，便顺手盖了上去。哈！它出不来了。我得意地走起来了，还对它做鬼脸。可是，他竟然出来了，并且筐子也没有动。这可吓了我一大跳，心想：“啊！这个鬼还会穿墙术，我好像打不过他。”我想甩掉它，晕头转脑地跑到了客厅。偶然看到了电话，想起向妈妈求救，马上拨通了电话，带着哭腔向妈妈喊道：“妈妈快来救我，有个鬼要吃掉我！”这时，我看不见了“鬼”，以为它已经走了，就长舒了一口气。这时，妈妈赶回来了。我一回头，又看见了它，吓得一屁股坐在了地上，妈妈问我：“儿子，鬼在哪？”我用颤抖着的手指着它：“那不就是吗！”妈妈见我手指着影子，一头雾水，当她明白是怎么一回事后，大笑起来。我差点就哭出来了：“人家就要被鬼吃掉了，你还笑！”妈妈勉强止住笑对我说：“傻孩子，那是影子。”经过妈妈半天的解释，我才明白那是影子。
