我们有什么理由不努力呢？看看我们身边的人，他们或多或少地在努力。我们从一出生就享受父母的爱。可是，我们想想，其他的家庭是不是也是这样？答案是不确定的，或许我们在父母的怀抱中撒娇时，另一个地方却是另外一番光景。年幼的孩子早早就起来给父母做饭，在厨房中忙碌。或许我们在大街上吃喝玩乐时，另一个地方的孩子就要上山砍柴，放牛牧羊。
我们从一出生，就在父母的呵护下成长。可是有的孩子却在出生之时就已没有了父母，相比之下，在父母呵护下成长的孩子要幸福的多。比起孤儿，我们很幸福。比起大山深处的孩子，我们很幸福。比起大街上乞讨要饭的孩子，我们很幸福。我们要问问自己，我们有什么理由可以不努力呢？
我们又如此好的条件：名牌衣服，鞋子，苹果手机，苹果电脑，以及大把的零花钱，住的是高楼，用的是名牌，比起一些连生活保障都没有的人，我们是不是比他们幸福？我们有各种的书籍，各种的学习资料，文具，比起一些连一本书都买不起的人，我们是不是比他们幸福？我们在KTV唱歌，在高档餐厅吃饭，比起一些连饭都吃不饱，衣服都穿不暖的人，我们是不是比他们幸福？
我们心自问，问问自己的良心，我们有什么理由不努力？比起一些聋哑人、盲人、聋人以及身体不健全的人，我们这些身体康健、正常的人比起他们是不是要幸福的多？！他们尚且努力，我们身体正常的为什么不努力？我想让诸位尝试，把你的眼睛蒙上，做3天的盲人，把你的耳朵堵上，做3天的聋人，体会一个作为盲人、聋人的感受，你们永远都无法理解作为一个残疾人心里的煎熬与痛苦，永远都无法知道作为一个残疾人他们的成长历程。他们忍受了很多我们常人无法忍受的东西。我们摸着良心好好问问自己，我们究竟有什么理由不努力？
一群人，整天要要活的；一群人，每天无所事事，在社会上游荡；一群人，张口闭口就向父母要钱；一群人，交个男女朋友就恨不得让所有人都知道似的；一群人，一天到晚就知道打架，抽烟，喝酒，啥事也干不了....颓废、痞气、二流子....你愿意成为这样的人吗？那我们为什么不努力？我们是在等着成为这样的人吗？
诸位也许觉得我说的过了，那么请你用心去看看我们的社会，正能量是有，但负能量也不少，真正努力的人又有多少？
我也不说些废话了，一些差的人都能成功，我们这些不算好不算坏的人有什么理应不努力呢？
也请诸位好好想想，我们有什么理由不努力？
看看年迈的父母，辛苦而又操劳，每天的'努力工作，不就是让自家的孩子有个好前程？！也许你没有发现，他们看起来很黑的头发已经有了几根白发。看看你身边的好同学，哪一个不是才貌双全、成绩优秀？与他们比起来，自己会不会有一丝的自卑感继而努力成为他们中的一员？
我再一次告诉你，生活没有捷径可走，只有脚踏实地，努力做好你手中的事，离幸福也就不远了。努力，努力，从来都是每一代人遵从的法则。不努力，你什么都没有。不努力，你就是“闲人”一个。
问问自己，也反省自己，我们这么不努力，对自己有没有任何好处？努力了，对自己又有什么好处？再最后问问自己，我们究竟有什么理由可以不努力？
再引用一句谚语：“不听老人言，吃亏在眼前。”这句话从来都是真理。
努力，在我们的人生道路上都有着举足轻重的作用和地位，它是不可分割的。所以请好好努力吧！它带给你的从来都是别样的人生精彩！脚下的路自己走，将来的路还是自己走，为了自己，也为了自己的未来，努力是必然的！
