我们是祖国的未来，所以我们应该杜绝毒品。目前，学校毒品预防教育工作在认识上还存在着一些误区：一是怕学生知道毒品。认为禁毒教育会引发学生的好奇心，促使他们冒险尝试;二是认为禁毒教育是公安部门的事，与学校无关。这些认识误区的一个前提，就是目前在校学生吸毒者罕见。事实上，毒品蔓延的速度相当快，若等到毒品在校园时再来教育，则为时已晚。由此可见加强禁毒教育，做好超前预防工作，是解决青少年吸毒问题的根本途径和出路。
至于如何搞好学校禁毒教育，还有待于大家在具体实践中进一步探索，但有一点必须肯定，目前毒品虽尚未在学校出现，但“防患于未然”总比“亡羊补牢”为好。加强毒品预防教育仍然是学校德育工作的一个方面，我提议，今后学校将从以下几方面开展禁毒工作的实践探索：
一.统一思想，提高认识，全面开展预防毒品犯罪宣传教育工作。
二.领导到位，加强对学校禁毒工作的组织领导，多渠道开展形式多样的毒品预防教育活动。
三.加强教育，增强青少年拒毒防毒能力。
四、开展丰富多彩的文化体育活动。
毒品是会化了装出现的。据说，有些毒品换上了名为“减肥药”的外衣来迷惑爱美的少男少女，他们为了迷人的身材，大量吞食，却不知自己的生命正慢慢开始亮起红灯。
