Such is sons’ nature; I really do not know how to express my thanks to you. However, I can imagine, on the day 18 years ago, when you gave birth to me, what a complex feeling you had. In the past few years, every day you struggle me up in the morning and prepare breakfast for me, then in the afternoon, you always welcome your only son with delicious foods after a day‘s hard work. Now your son has been 18 and will go to university soon, like a bird is leaving its parents. Nevertheless, your footprints on my heart will never ever fade and I love you mum!

见过我爸爸的人都会说我长得很像爸爸，他有一双和我一样的大眼睛，1米72的身高，黑黑的卷发，苗条的身材，样子很帅，看起来不像40多岁的人。
爸爸的时间观念很强，经常教我做事情要安排好时间，约人一定要守时。一次，爸爸要开早会，他前一天晚上就计划好时间，早早地起床，井井有条地洗脸刷牙吃早餐，做完所有该做的事情，然后不慌不慢地出门，回到单位不仅仅没迟到，而且还提前了几十分钟呢。爸爸经常要我早睡早起，每天晚上9点半上床睡觉。有一次，我晚上做完作业下去玩，一直玩到10点钟才回到家，爸爸很生气，说：“你怎么搞得这么晚才回来？你这样明天早上会迟到的，我不是讲过晚上9点以后就是小孩子生长的黄金时期吗？你怎么不听呢…”说得我都流眼泪了。
爸爸上班一直都很辛苦，很忙，有时天黑了才下班，有时候半夜赶去加班。爸爸很疼我，每次吃饭时都会先夹好吃的给我，因为他怕我饿了，他一边开心的看着我吃，一边开玩笑地说：“可可，你吃这么多，是不是肚子长蛔虫了呀？”笑得我把饭都喷出来了。
爸爸十分关心我的学习，有时，他还偷看我的作业本。每当我考了100分时，爸爸总是叫我不要骄傲，继续加油。
爸爸还教我自己的事情自己做，有时，我怕上学迟到，为了赶时间，妈妈会帮我系鞋带，爸爸见了就会说：“可可，自己的事情自己做，不要依赖别人以及父母哦。”听了爸爸的话，我惭愧地低下了头，马上推开妈妈的手，自己绑好鞋带。爸爸看见后，脸上露出了笑容。
爸爸是一个懂得生活的人。他喜欢看电视，最爱的就是足球赛和社会与法频道，每次看完电视他都会教我一些做人道理和安全意识，他经常说社会很复杂，有好人也有坏人，不要轻易相信陌生人的话，凡事要多动脑……
我的爸爸样样都好，就是有点儿急躁，我希望他改了这个坏习惯。尽管如此，我还是很爱他！
