By the time you read this you will be 30. At the age of 18 I had so many hopes and dreams about where you'd be, what you'd be doing and with whom you'd spend your life with.
Right now I hope that you have traveled and seen everything you've always wanted to, both in Canada and overseas, and maybe even settled down somewhere in Australia doing some research in the field of biology (genetics.
I hope you're married to the man of your dreams. The man of mine is Gwynn. He is originally from South Africa (another place I wish to visit.
You'll probably have two children of your own – a girl(Michaela Anne and a boy (name yet to be decided.If everything goes according to plan you'll be living in Australia in a big house in a small town outside of a big city with a lot of land, a dog, Gwynn and your two beautiful children. Hopefully you have a career in the medical field, maybe doing research in genetics. Gwynn will be a computer programmer and you will be doing alright for yourselves.
However, if things don't go according to plan for you, I wish you all the love, happiness and joy in the world and don't settle for anything less than the best since that is absolutely what you deserve.
Live long, be happy and live life to it's fullest.

The letter gives you a macro-view of your initial vision and lets you recognize how your current vision differs from the past.

我现在各方面都挺好的。您知道吗?现在妈妈给我请了家教老师来辅导我学习。自从有了家教老师后，我的各科成绩的确进步了不少。另外期末考试也渐渐逼近，因此学习也变得越来越紧张了。虽然现在学习是累了点，可是请您不要担心。我一定会好好复习，不会让您老人家失望的。还有现在我在学校和小区里的朋友都很多，而且他们都很好，我们相处得还满融洽的。不过，在家里有时不小心做错了事情会被爸妈骂一顿，可是我知道他们这样做是为我好。以后我会乖一点了。

这个节目是《哪去了?》，就当我正在为题目纳闷的时候，我想您也会觉得奇怪吧!但我爸爸竟然在自言自语的对我说：“喂，魔术开始了!”我突然恍然大悟，说：“哦!原来是魔术呀!我还以为是什么呢!”不等我多想，魔术师早已经在主持人的邀请下来到了舞台，只见他在工作人员的帮助下把一堆刀一样的东西和一个很大，而且很奇怪的东西搬到了舞台的中央，这东西有1米多高，有两个门，一个较大，一个较小，我觉得这个东西好像很眼熟，突然间，我好像想起了什么，觉得很像电视里的……电视里的什么?啊!是用来藏人的!我突然想起来了，“哇噻!莫非他要学电视上的表演的那种魔术?人家可是有一点点的，一点点点的隐藏的余地哟!可你呢?你可是在我们大众的眼皮下进行的呀!几百双眼睛都在时时刻刻地盯着你的一举一动，你不害怕吗?假若你在大家的`面前出了丑，你不会感到羞愧吗?而你的名誉就会因为你这一点点的小差错而损失了大半，那不是前功尽弃了吗?你可要想清楚啦!做这一行的可是有很多人都是因为这样而失去了表演的机会呀!你可要小心呀!”我暗自地为他担心道。等一切都准备好以后，节目开始了，在一阵音乐的隆重欢迎之后，一位漂亮的阿姨走到了舞台上，然后就立刻打开那个奇怪的东西让我们检查有没有东西在里面，我们看了，大家都异口同声的说道：“没有!”，魔术师便把门关上了，然后就让那个阿姨站了进去，接着他又打开了门，表示阿姨还在那里面，然后就关上了，接着阿姨的一只手从一个小洞里伸了出去，然后魔术师拿了一把剑，在那个关着阿姨的头的盒子的边框上一剑插了进去，然后又在中间那里放了2个铁圈，又在下面插了一剑，我想：“阿姨被你这样一折腾，不变成肉酱才怪咧!后来，他又打开了上面的门，里面竟然没人!这是怎么回事?真让我目瞪口呆!我思考着，过了一会儿，他把剑全部拿走，打开来一看，哇!阿姨竟然毫无受伤，安然无恙的走了出来，真叫人兴奋呀!
今天，我终于亲眼看到了我自认为世间的一个奇迹，真叫人兴奋，又叫人震撼!外公您说是不是呀?
