初一的军训，让我懂得了父母也需要我们的理解，那天下午，班主任拿着粉笔在黑板上写了几个大字，什么？我没看错吧！明天居然要军训啊！我马上揉了揉眼睛，没错，我没看错，明天确实要军训。这对于我来说，简直是一个晴天霹雳，怎么办？我不要去军训！我朝四周看了看，同学们的反应各不相同，喜怒哀乐都有，有的说：“听说军训很好玩哦！”有的甚至高兴地跳起来，欢呼着：“哈哈，我终于等到这一天啦，不用上学，还可以玩耍！”有的愁眉苦脸，说：“你们高兴什么啊？听说那里的教官就像魔鬼，严得很，你们就不怕吃苦吗？”“是啊，听我姐说，那里的饭菜特别难吃！”教室里马上炸开了锅，我呢？则呆若木鸡，不知道回家怎么跟爸妈说？
回到家，我说：“明……明天……要……”“明天怎么了？”妈妈看着我紧张的样子，自己也跟着紧张。“要……要……”“到底要什么？干嘛吞吞吐吐？你闯祸了吗？”爸爸不耐烦地问。“要……军训！”我终于说了出来，“军训？是好事啊！有什么好紧张的？”妈妈这才松了一口气，“是啊是啊，正好让你去锻炼一下自己！”爸爸马上说。“可是我不想去！”我不知道哪来的勇气，终于把自己的意见说出来。“为什么？”“那里的教官很严，我会受苦的！”“不行！你必须去，这是一个锻炼的机会，你绝对不能放弃！”“不去！”我摇着头。“你去也得去，不去也得去！”爸爸的牛脾气来了，“你们要去就自己去，我是不会去的'！你们真狠心，根本就不理解我！”我哭着跑进卧室。“你就不能少说几句吗？”妈妈责怪爸爸。
到了明天，我被爸爸强拉去学校，上了校车，我几乎都在责怪爸爸，到了基地，同学们都拿着行李下了车，我无精打采地走下车，好朋友小淼安慰我：“你别担心，别听那些谣言，这里的教官人很好的，如果有什么困难，我会照顾你的。”“真的吗？这里的教官真的不是魔鬼吗？”“当然不是，你相信我吧！”小淼笑着说。可到了第一天晚上，我哭了，我开始想爸爸妈妈了，宿舍里也传来几声抽泣声，她们可能也想父母了吧，爸爸妈妈，你们什么时候来接我回家啊？在这里真的好苦，衣服自己洗，被子自己叠，早上还得5点起床……接下来的第二天也是这样，到了第三天，我习惯了，我不哭了，相反，我却很开心，在这里，我学到很多东西，我理解父母的良苦用心，我感谢他们送我来军训！
到了回家那天，一进门，我马上扑进了妈妈的怀里，“爸爸妈妈，我错了，平时我总让你们操心，这次军训，让我明白了许多道理，是我不理解你们，我错了！”我把憋了五天的话都说了出来，爸爸看着我，满意地笑了。
可怜天下父母心！哪一对父母不爱自己的孩子呢？可他们缺少的，正是我们的理解。

从前有一位花匠在院子里种了一棵葡萄树，夏天葡萄藤结了不少葡萄，他很高兴，想与人分享这些果实，便摘了一些送邻居。首先，他送给一位商人，商人一边吃一边说：“好吃，好吃！多少钱一斤？”花匠又把葡萄送给一位干部，那干部接过葡萄后沉吟良久，问“你有什么事要我帮忙吗？”花匠又把葡萄送给一位少妇，她有点意外，而她的'丈夫则在一旁一脸警惕。花匠回到家很纳闷：我只想让大家尝尝鲜，怎么会产生那么多的误会？
其实我们就像是花匠，而你们就像是形形色色的邻居。我门不会想你们想的那么去做，而你们就是要去想。你们不了解我们，对我们的做法多多少少总是会有误会的。

Dear Mom and Dad,
Although we can only keep in touch with each other by the telephone or the Internet, I wish I could let you know how much I love you and how much I’ve appreciated the things you’ve done for me. It is never too much to say thank you to you, my dear parents.
First and the most important is that thank you for bringing me to this world. During the 20 years, you have done a lot for me, but I haven’t realized how much I love you until I left home to the university. I understand how much effort you have cost to bring me up. Now, I have grown up, I can look after you.

Beloved father:
It’s a long time no contacting with you since last e-mail. And I miss you so much. Recently I luckily turn to the third officer working on board MV Blue Whale,which is a container ship. I intend to introduce you what Ido on this big vessel in this letter.
I am the third officer working in the deck department. As you know, the third officer is responsible to the master for the proper performance of his assigned bridge watchstanding and navigational duties.
On board, my first daily work is wathckeeping from 8 to 12 and from 20 to 24. my second daily work is in charge of the maintance of the fire-fighting equipment and life-saving equipment. The third , I am also responsible for fire and boat drills, I have to design a muster list and make crew to know the best escape route clearly. Additionally, there are also some simple things I have to do in daily work. For example, I have to assist the Chief Officer in supervising cargo handling operation 、to measure the draft at the discretion of the Chief Officer or the Master、to assist the Master on the bridge with anchoring and mooring and unmooring operation is underway and so on.
In the end, I strongly believed that you must be very familiar with my special work through what I said. And I hope you can stand my back and make me stronger. We will have a reunion soon.
