How was I to know that you were watching me sleep? I awoke to see you laying there and just then, you smiled and said hi and that just melted me. I wish with all of my heart that I could wake to your beautiful eyes for the rest of my life.I hated to leave but as I have told you, I left a big part of me with you.
It is yours now so, take care and tread lightly. I wish that I could be with you now as you face so many struggles, but know that I am there in spirit and am praying for everything to work out for you. 因为相同的性格一定会拉近你我的距离。在写这封信的时候，我在猜想：你家可能是一间破烂的土房，每到下雨天，外面下大雨，屋里就下小雨。冬天房子四周透风，冷得让难以忍受，尽管在这样的情况下，你还可能是照顾着病重的.与你相依为命的母亲，你每天上下学都要往返几十里路，可总是名列前茅。生活的艰险，的艰辛，也不能抹去你脸上那朴实的笑容。知道我的家乡是什么样子的吗？若你看到只会感到羡慕！我的家乡在济南，济南又叫做泉城，四面荷花三面柳，一城山色半城湖，这就是它的真实写照。说到泉水，我最喜欢的是大明湖，大明湖是济南三大名胜之一。大明湖景色优美秀丽，湖上鸢飞鱼跃，荷花满塘，画舫穿行，岸边杨柳荫浓，繁花似锦，游人如织，其间又点缀着各色亭、台、楼、阁，远山近水与晴空融为一色，犹如一幅巨大的彩色画卷。美丽极！若你来到我家乡，我会做你合格导游。

Dear professor Jackson:
I am indeed very sorry that I missed the examination you gave on Moby-Dick last Wednesday. I feel badly about it and want you to know what happened.
On my way to class that day,I had a flat tire,and I had to go with the mechanic when he repaired it. It took me more than one hour to get it done. A copy of the bill is enclosed.
I sincerely hope you can accept my apologies and understand my situation. I would appreciate your allowing me to take a make up examination. I will come to your office during your office hour on Monday to discuss this possibility with you. Once again,Im sorry fro any inconvenience caused.
