章鱼之所以能在大海里横行霸道，是与它有着特殊的自卫和进攻的法宝分不开的。首先，章鱼有8条感觉灵敏的触腕，每条触腕上约有300多个吸盘，每个吸盘的拉力为100克，有时章鱼可以运走比自己重5倍、10倍，甚至20倍的大石头。想想看，无论谁被它的触腕缠住，都是难以脱身的。有趣的是，章鱼最喜欢将自己的身体塞进海螺壳躲起来，等到鱼虾走近时，它会突然变成一个庞然大物，向鱼虾发起猛烈进攻，迅速咬破它们的头部，注入毒液，使其麻痹致，然后美餐一顿。
章鱼就是靠这个独特的看家本领，在海洋里横行霸道，无物敢敌。
