一、正确认识跳蚤市场：跳蚤市场最早是巴黎专门卖便宜货的地方。早期的英国人经常将自己的旧衣服、旧东西在街上卖，而那些旧的东西里时常会有跳蚤、虱子等小虫子。逐渐地，人们就将这样卖旧货的地方叫做flea market，在中国被译成跳蚤市场。
现在跳蚤市场这一名称仍在使用，它一般指在周末举行的非正式户外集市，出售各种各样的东西，有用过的旧东西，也有新的东西，大家把不需要的东西拿出来和别人换取，以此倡导节约型社会。
二、正确认识此次活动的目的：学校组织爱心跳蚤市场活动是为了通过活动让孩子们提高适应社会市场的能力，在文明买卖、讨价还价的过程中得到社会实践锻炼，培养实践操作能力，从中体验到成功和收获的喜悦。
三、为孩子做好活动指导。为了使活动的开展真正达到培养孩子能力的目的，希望家长对孩子做如下指导：
1、帮助孩子科学选择物品，一起商量给“绿色商品”估价，并动员孩子用留存零花钱积极参与“绿色商品”的选购活动。

3、在活动中，鼓励孩子与同学自由组合小组合作，设置售货员、收银员、记账员、促销员、保洁员等岗位，每位同学各负其职，团结合作，并对孩子在合作中需要注意的问题给予指导。
4、活动所得经费，家长必须要引导孩子科学、合理地支配。
