特点之一唠叨
在遇见他之前，我从未看见过有男人如此唠叨，我越来越敢肯定他是霞山区最唠叨的男人了。记得有一次，他边给我们发昨天的`听写，边批评我们说，听写实在是太差了，竟然有这么多人不及格，还说是实验班，比上届的学生差远了!发完后，他有开始长篇大论：“学过的单词要会读、背、默，学过的单词要回去抄一遍，再默一遍;回家首先要复习，再做功课，后预习，不能把功课理解成作业……”他滔滔不绝地说着，我们“兴高采烈”地听着。他足足讲了一个小时，望着其他班放学的人，我不仅肚子抗议，耳朵也在抗议。到了六点整，他终于肯放学了。其实我知道他说的都是好的，但是如果语言再简洁些就好了。
特点之二亲力亲为
有一次，值日的三个同学忘记扫地，所以教室里的每一个角落都布满了垃圾。他看见了便拿起扫把，提着垃圾铲打扫起来。等打扫完之后，再批评那三个同学，并罚他们重扫一天。我觉得有点怪怪的，因为很少有老师会这样的，一般都是先批评学生再让学生去干。

The novel goes through five distinct stages: Jane's childhood at Gateshead, where she is abused by her aunt and cousins; her education at Lowood School, where she acquires friends and role models but also suffers privations; her time as the governess of Thornfield Manor, where she falls in love with her Byronic employer, Edward Rochester; her time with the Rivers family at Marsh's End (or Moor House and Morton, where her cold clergyman-cousin St John Rivers proposes to her; and her reunion with and marriage to her beloved Rochester at his house of Ferndean. Partly autobiographical, the novel abounds with social criticism and sinister gothic elements.
