The cartoon aims at informing us of the significance of an optimistic mindset. Definitely, no once can deny the importance of it. An optimistic mindset can help us achieve our objectives more smoothly and realize our dreams more rapidly. By being optimistic. we can face challenges and surmount hardships with confidence,keep sober and figure out effective measures even in desperate situations. To further illustrate the importance of being optimistic, I would like to take Beethoven as a case in point: how could he, a great German music composer who became deaf at his forties, compose so many enduring and classic symphonies without optimism?

Accordingly, at no time should we overlook the power of optimism. once coming across frustrations and intending to give up, we should remind ourselves that it is optimism that will finally lead us to turn the corner. “the optimistic sees the rose,and the pessimistic sees the thorn.” A philosopher once said.

控制能力是成功的试金石,乐观者自感能够掌控自愧 命运。如果事情变糟,他快速做出反应,寻找解决办法,制订新的行动计划,并且寻求他方建议。悲观者则感到自己命运不济,行动迟缓。既然认为毫无办法,他便不去讨教他人。许多研究表明,悲观者的无助感渐渐损害人体的自然防御功能,即免疫系统,研究发现,悲观者不会很好地照顾自己。他感到消极,不会躲避生活中的打击无论做什么都会担心有损健康或有其他不幸降临。他大口咀嚼着垃圾食品,不参加体育锻炼,不听医生的劝告,总是贪杯。

大多数人都是乐观主义和悲观主义的混合体,但总是要倾向于某一方向,这种思维方式自儿时就已形成。它来自千万次告诫或鼓励,肯定的或否定的话语。太多的不许和危险警告会使孩子感到无能,恐惧以及悲观。悲观是一种克服的习惯,但并非不能克服。

Do you see the glass as half-full rather than hall empty? The two different answers to the question represent two different attitudes towards life -- optimistic attitude and pessimistic attitude.

Optimism always leads to happiness, health and success while pessimism, by contrast, results in hopelessness, sickness and failure. That\'s because optimists and pessimists deal with the same challenges and disappointments in very different ways. When things go wong the pessimist tends to blame himsell, while the optimist looks for loop holes. The optimist feels in control of his oval life. If things are going badly, he acts quickly, looking for solutions, forming a new plan of action, and seeking for advice. On the contrary, the pessimist yields to the arrangement of fate and moves slowly. He doesn\'t seek advice, since he assumes nothing can be done.

Most people are a mix of optimism and pessimism. Optimism is important in all aspects of our lives. If you can change your mind from pessimism to optimism, you can change your life.
