那是暑假开始的第一天，我按捺不住放假的喜悦心情，早晨没等妈妈叫我，就早早地起来把房间收拾得干干净净的，爸爸妈妈被我的反常举动搞得还以为今天太阳打西边出来呢，我冲他们神秘地一笑，说：“今天还会发生更新鲜的事呢。”究竟是什么呢？——秘密！
五年级的时候，我都养着一些不好的习惯。我都是六年级的学生了，饭来张口、衣来身手，这些习惯我都要通通改掉。所以呢，我要利用暑假的时间为爸爸妈妈做一些事。
吃完了早饭，爸爸妈妈都去上班了，我也开始了我的秘密行动——做家务。我学着妈妈的样子，首先将抹布洗干净，蹲在地上，一点一点擦地板，还没擦上一个房间，我已经热得满头大汗、气喘吁吁了。想到妈妈每天都要做这些家务，今天我终于体验到了妈妈的辛苦，我都不想动了，但是，在我的脑海里浮现出了一句话：坚持就是胜利！我去洗手间洗把脸，继续擦起来。工夫不负有心人，大约过了一个小时，我终于把地板擦干净了。地板变干净了，我也累得趴在沙发上起不来了。但是看着我亲手擦干净的地板，心里乐极了。

下午的时候和朋友一起去玩饰品店，我看中了 一些用纸折的纸鹤，我和同学约定晚上来买然后在去玩，回到了家里，我把这件事说给了妈妈听，要她拿钱给我，可她却说：“买的纸鹤有什么好的，又浪费钱，又没有什么用。”我苦苦的 求她，可她就是不答应，还说：“不就是纸鹤吗，我们也可以折啊!”于是，我怀着试一试的`心情跟着妈妈折，可是折完拿起来一看，这哪是什么纸鹤啊，翅膀还不像翅膀，嘴不像嘴，简直 丑了，当时我就恨她了，这点钱都不给我。
直到后来的一件事，才让我觉得她并不坏，一天，同学和我说：“高中的东西太难了，我们去买参考书吧。”我说：“不可能， 上次我叫我妈拿钱买饰品她都不肯，更何况现在所需要的钱可比买饰品的钱要多。”回到家之后，我到房间写着似懂非懂的题，妈妈推开门对我说：“你同学叫你去买参考书你干嘛不去呀! ”我答到：“上次买饰品你都不给我钱，这次可比那那次的钱要多，你怎么可能给我钱啊。”
但是，她拿出了100块对我说：“我不是不给我，也不是缺那么点饰品的钱，但饰品好你又没有什么好处，那就是浪费，而参考书可以让你的 成绩提高，我怎么会不给你钱呢。”于是，我对妈妈就不再恨了。
虽然这可能是一件小事，但其中也包含了一定的道理，这会是我暑假最有意义的一天。

有一个周末，我玩罢回家发现妈妈不在家，而且家里也很乱。我想妈妈天天做家务，照顾我的生活还要上班，已经很累了。于是，我下定决心：这周末要帮她打扫卫生。
说干就干，我挽起袖子，先将抹布湿透拧干，然后把桌子、茶几、椅子都挨个擦一遍。接着，我把散落在外的书都整齐的放回书架；我是按照分类法来放的：漫画类、文学类、科技类……放好书本后，我拍拍手转身拿起了扫把，我要把地板先清扫干净。由于平时没做过家务，我打扫了20分钟左右才把整个屋子清扫干净，倒完垃圾后，并且已经累得气喘吁吁了。可是活儿还没完，我还得拖地才行，休息了几分钟，我便学着妈妈的样子拿起拖把，然后清洗干净，一下一下吃力的从大厅开始拖地，不知用了好久，我终于拖完地了，看着闪亮的地板，我心里那种成就感不用形容有多么强烈了。
最后，我就该清理洗漱用品了。可是，等到我快清理结束时，一只“小强”突然窜了出来，它的出现引起了一场战争。我用拖把拍他，它却敏捷的躲过去了；再用木板追击，它一溜烟儿又轻松的躲过去了。此时的我已经火冒三丈了，巴不得有一枚核弹将它炸个灰飞烟灭。可是，我现在只有原始的“兵器”。最终，我决定用扫把与那家伙对决，这回，没几个回合我便将它打败了。看着“小强”的灵魂升天，我感觉自己就是一个大英雄。收拾完被“小强”捣乱的残局，我终于将家里的清洁卫生都搞定了。
看着时间，妈妈也该回家了。为了接受妈妈的表扬洗礼，我拿出作业本假装做作业。果然，不出所料。妈妈回家看见家里大变样，再看到“认真”做作业的我，不由分说先抱着我狠狠的亲了一口，然后双手竖起大拇指用了很多我都没听过的词语对我大加赞赏，并答应给我做好吃的犒劳我。
我想，这是我做过最有意义的一件事吧。不仅体验到了做家务的辛苦，体验到了和“小强”作战的刺激，还体验到了帮助妈妈的成就感和被家长表扬美妙滋味。
