“五十六个民族，五十六朵花，五十六个兄弟姐妹是一家。”是啊!我们中华民族地大物博，有着悠久的历史，灿烂的文化。五十六多民族之花竞相开放，美不胜收。下面，我就想大家介绍一只美丽的“花”——傣族。
在傣族的众多的风俗习惯中，最吸引人的就是傣族的饮食。
傣族以大米为主食，尤其喜欢吃糯米。以竹筒饭为代表。傣族把一节竹子一端挖通后装米。这些米要洗干净泡水后才能装。再用竹叶把竹筒口塞紧，要使米掉不出 来，但同时也要留些空隙，才能使米更柔软。装好以后，放温火上烧烤，待竹筒表面烧焦后饭也就熟了。剖开后是香喷喷的竹筒饭。用酸菜、酸笋配上这带有竹子香 味的米饭，百吃不厌，令人满口留香。
除了主食竹筒饭以外，傣族人的副食酸味儿食品、水产和昆虫菜也是别有风味。
酸味食品是傣族人的最爱，像什么酸笋、酸菜、酸蚂蚁……这些几乎每家每户都有。
而水产，如鱼类、青苔、蛙类也是傣族人无法割舍的食品。
最特别的是昆虫菜。这一特色符合傣族人的一句话：“只要是静的都是菜，只要是动的都是肉。”无论是较小的田鳖、蜘蛛、蚂蚁蛋，还是较大的竹虫、蝉、沙蛆、竹蛆只要一加佐料就能立刻变为餐桌上的一道美味佳肴。
傣族的食品还有苦瓜、苦笋，甜米酒，槟榔、酸肉、狗肉……而且个个美味无比。

我们大家在学英语的同时。好像忘记了我们的母语。我们这中华民族五千年的悠久历史，老祖宗传下来的文化，魅力好像还抵不过一个“洋鬼子”说的“鬼话”是的，英语的确是国际通用语言。可是这就是我们要冷落我们伟大的母语的'原因吗？这原因是在不值一提。中文，是世界上能最清楚表达事物的语言，只改变语调，就能变换语义。中国的语言文字叫“汉字”，而英美的语言文字叫“单词”。
这就明显能体现出汉语的意思准确、精练。我本人是回族，但我并不讨厌“汉”语、“汉”话。相反，我却十分崇敬华夏文化，因为我是中国人。
但看现在世态，我们好像不该在打着中华民族的旗子，说我们是龙的传人了。外语肆意横行，把我们老祖宗留给我们的东西，推进了印度洋深处，实在可怕。我最后竭力大喊一句：“我们是中国人！！！”
