我最有意义的事是植树节发生的那件事。
3月12日那天，学校组织植树。
大家一同来到山脚下，老师一声令下，同学们就分头干起来。俩人一组，我和小明选了个地方，拿起铁锹用力地挖树坑。我双手握住铁锹，起初往地上一挖就是一大块儿，土又松有软特别好挖，土松松的，软软的，像是筛过的细沙，渐渐的随着树坑深度的增加泥土变得坚硬起来，而且夹带着许多石头，砖块，好像成心和我作对似的，看到别的组干的多很起劲儿，我灵机一动戴上手套蹲下身子一下下把石头和砖瓦从泥土里抠出来再开始第二次“挖掘”。
不一会儿，我累得汗流夹背，脖领子也湿透了，额头上的汗珠子像断了线的珠子往下滴。
终于，我们组的树坑挖好了，小明把满满一桶水拎到树坑边，小心翼翼地把树苗放入里面，扶的稳稳的，我拿起铁锹弯下身子，把树坑边上的土一锹一锹地往下面填，很快把树坑封的严严实实，然后用脚把土踩结实，然后我们把一桶水倒进去，这样一棵树就种好了，太好了，我们开始盼望着它在以后的日子里茁壮成长，长大以后挡风沙，长大后美化环境，为人民做贡献。
我觉得这是最有意义的一件事，既能锻炼了我们的动手能力，又保护了周围的环境，也是两全其美的事，我愿多做这样的事。
