summer can be very hot in southern taiwan where the temperature usually goes up to 32"c or more. because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. also because of this i stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky.
actually i like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. in the summer vacation that has just ended i went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. this summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. as a second-year senior student i had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. in other words, i must find time to study, too.
so i divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.

Because we have two months to do things we love to do.We are free.Although we have some homework.But we can finish them in several days.And the rest time we can make good use of.My god! the summer vacation had come round again. i was happy that i could forget about school at least for a while. lest i fool around all through this summer vacation, i made a plan as to how to spend it. first, i thought i should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that i could have a better understanding of them.
then i thought i should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong. it stood to reason that with such a good plan i should make the best of my vacation time. i did, because i lived up to what i had planned.

今天，老妈和她的几个姐妹要带我们几个小孩去万象城玩，因为我拒绝帮忙看这几个小屁孩，所以从老妈那里拿了钱就自己去打游戏了，我来到“星际传奇”里一个人瞎逛着，觉得没什么意思，突然看到一个新项目——全民k歌，不知道应该说是巧合还是说我比较幸运，原本就不多的房间在我过去的时候正好空着一个，为了不让人抢先我加快来脚步，伸手去拉开门这时也有一只手同时搭到门上，我抬起头看着这个“陌生人”，不知为什么觉得有点熟悉，她也看着我足足愣了三秒。突然她一脸惊喜的说到：“你是陈薏如？”
“恩，你是……”我不禁感到惊讶，她竟然认识我，可在我的印象中并不记得她是谁，“是我，恩，怎么说呢！哦，我是你的‘开心果’”我更是大吃一惊，因为她实在是变了太多，之后，她又说了很多以前的事，而这些事只有我和另一个人知道，也就是她口中的‘开心果’这让我不得不相信，不过既然是认识的也就不分前后了。
好久没见，我们在里面唱了一会儿，就跑到星巴克里买了杯咖啡边聊边喝，不得不说在这一年里她真的变了很多，人高了，也瘦了，原本安安静静的.她也开朗了起来。作为她在小学里唯一一个可以说的上话的人，我既高兴又难过，不过更多的是高兴，因为我并不是她的亲人不可能一辈子待着我身边，她必须学会和人交流。从那时到现在我有时候还会在想是什么让她变了这么多。但，这的不重要。重要的是怎么变，是变好还是变坏。
是啊！这个世界就是这样，必须是你去适应它，而不是让它去适应你。世间万物都在变化，人也总会因为一些事情而改变，可能变的平凡也可能变的出众……
