今天的合肥又被誉为科技之城、绿色之城。继“五里飞虹”之后，又有金寨路高架桥和长江路高架桥相继建成，科学岛的设备和潜能都是国内一流的'、还有闻名海内外的中国科学技术大学。
大蜀山、紫蓬山是人们旅游度假的好地方。更有有名的“庐阳八景”，环城公园，植物园，野生动物园等好玩的地方。还有宁国路小吃一条街，淮河路步行街，各种好吃的等着你呢。
