这部电影主要讲的是：一个名叫王燕的山区小姑娘，她一心想要上学，可她的妈妈认为学费太贵，不让她上学，要她自己挣学费。于是，她先卖了她家辛辛苦苦攒的十个鸡蛋，然后，又让一位老爷爷帮她买了一只小羊羔，在她的精心照料下，小羊羔慢慢长大了，她把羊拉到城里去卖，结果钱还差一元二角，她又想起那位帮她买羊的好心爷爷，在那位老爷爷和好心人的帮助下，她挣到了二元钱，她又用八角钱买了一只笔。最后王燕兴冲冲地到学校去参加开学典礼，终于上了学。
影片没有华丽的表演，但它真实地反映了一个山区姑娘要上学的迫切希望，虽然经过了重重困难，但她还是挣到了学费。影片中的王燕是多么想上学、爱学习，她想用知识来改变自己的命运。它深深地感染了我。与她相比我们过得是多么幸福啊，爸爸妈妈为了让我们能学习好，他们想方设法地为我们提供一切机会和金钱的支柱，有的甚至牺牲掉自己的工作来陪伴我们，我们过上的是皇帝般的生活，而我们回报父母的是什么呢？
和影片中的王燕相比，我觉得我们应该要用自己的实际行动来回报父母，平时多帮父母干家务活，用自己优异的成绩来报答爸爸妈妈。

现在的家长太娇惯自已的'孩子，连书包也帮他们背，难道他就不愿自已的孩子受一点苦吗？如果连背书包都要家长背的话，以后长大，还能独立吗？图中的学生太依赖自已的家长了。放学背书包回家，本就应该自已背，为什么还要家长帮忙背呢？如果是家长执意要背的话，那孩子也不应该走在家长的前面，让家长在后面追；而应该走在家长旁边，帮家长减轻负担，不让家长担心。上学，放学背书包，本是力所能及的事，力所能及的事应该自己做，更何况是自己应该做的，为什么要让家长背书包，自己却在悠闲地吃着手里的零食呢？
我们不能这样依赖自己的家长，力所能及的事情应该帮着做，而不是家长帮你做，更何况有些事是你应该做的。

她先是把家里的10个鸡蛋卖了，赚了两块五。又花了一块七元买了一支笔送给老师（其实是准备两块钱卖给老师的），老师给了她五块钱，她又赚了三块三元。后来，她通过买卖羊赚了五块钱。除去路费和给弟弟买糖的钱，她正好赚了十块钱。她用这十块钱买了一张车票，和大人们一起去摘枸杞子。当时枸杞子的价钱是两角钱一斤，她必须摘到一百多斤才够（妈妈说要有小山那么高）。开学那天，她满脸灰尘回到学校，打开一直攥得紧紧的手，对老师说："这是二十四块八，我可以上学了！"
真的非常感人！《我要上学》观后感我不知道世界上还有那么穷、那么脏的地方（到处都是黄土，一点绿色都看不见）！想一想自己平时那么不珍惜钱，真是惭愧！我非常敬佩王燕，我一定向她学习！珍惜今天的.幸福生活！
